I went to see Dr K after having 4 injections in my neck for severe pain down my right arm. The moment I sat up in the morning till I laid down each night I was in pain. Pain meds were not doing any good either. I have had the pain for about two years and was at the end of my rope so to speak. The spine center at St E Florence recommended I see Dr K. Thank God they did. He scheduled an MRI and x-rays and came up with a plan. We talked and we came to a decision. And when I say "we" I mean "we". I woke up from surgery after a 3 disk cervical spline fusion with discectomy and ALL my pain was gone. I thanks him for all his hard work, his education that he worked so hard to get and the fact I am able to live free of pain now. Would I recommend Dr K? Yes, in a heart beat and without reservation.

No good

L5-s1 fusion that didn't work and had two other back surgeons tell me they wouldn't of operated if there was no pain running down my legs which at time there was none.

This doctor and his staff have poor bedside manners. He referred to my deviated septum as "a crooked nose". He was about to prescribe pain medication and when my wife pulled out an empty bottle of Hydrocodone he became cold as ice and acted like I was a narcotics abuser for ulcers on my throat. The pain is so intense that I can't sleep without medication that numbs the area. His remedy? Flonaise and some tylenol. This guy has no compassion for his patients whatsoever. When we told him that going off Prednisone, and not having any pain medication beyond tylenol, would turn me into a trainwreck ge said he would just refer us to a pain clinic. Nuh uh, I am not paying that guy $150 to spend about 15 minutes with me and him not make sure that I am comfortable.
