Dr. Raj Dilip Sheth, MD

Dr. Sheth diagnosed my son with non-epileptic seizures. We were told by him that he was 100% sure that my son did not have epilepsy. He told me that I was not to call and bother him or his nurse about my son's illness again. My son continued to have grand mall seizures for an entire year. I finally got another diagnosis and my son was put in the hospital and was diagnosed with epilepsy. He has been on meds for 6 mos. and has not had another seizure. He is by far the worst doctor I have ever had to deal with. I would not let him treat my dog.

My 12 year old son was recently diagnosed with Juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. A few months ago he started falling for no reason and his body would jerk after being a sleep or if he was tired. His regular doctor order a lot of test and they all came back abnormal. We live in a small town so there no pediatric neurologist anywhere near us. I called Nemours Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL the day we got the test results back , I spoke with Dee the operator and told her what was going on and how as a mother, I could not wait months for a diagnoses, I needed one now for my child. She put me on hold and came back and told me that Dr. Sheth could see us the next day. When he came in the room, he made all of us feel at ease, he has one of the best bedside manners I have ever seen in a doctor. He was kind; he went over all the test results so we could understand what was happening with our child. He was great, even though our child has epilepsy we left will confident that he would do… whatever it takes to help our son and us.

Dr Sheth made me wait 1 hour before I was seen.He rushed me and out of the exam room and did not listen to my concerns. He ordered lots of test and then did not want me to come back

After waiting three weeks for and an appointment, we discovered it was well worth the wait! We were one of the first appointments in the morning so there was very little wait time. Dr Sheth came in and spent about 10- 15 minutes talking with just my 12 year old about his symptoms, and concerns before spending another 20 + minutes with my husband and I talking about diagnosis, related conditions, possible medications and recommended follow-up. We left with extensive knowledge and materials and a better understanding of our child! With out a doubt would recommend this doctor to anyone!

We were deeply disappointed in the care provided by Dr. Sheth. Horrendous follow up care. We were told that he could not return a phone call after a true medical emergency because he was "busy" and could not bill for the call.
