It’s all about Dr Raja B Boutros..... not his patients.

Although at first he seemed great, he even got me a diagnosis of my disease. However, after that, it all went south very fast. Last two appointments, I waited 2 hours each time before being seen, no explanation and no apology. His staff is rude and non-caring. They never follow up with proper paperwork. My IVIG's were totally screwed up. Because of that, I couldn't properly ween off of my opiod. Then he refused to refill it and I went into a cold turkey spiral. Only after threatening legal action, he gave me a 30 day supply. I then received a certified letter from him letting me know that he wouldn't be seeing me anymore. Luckily I had already made an appointment with a new neurologist in Torrey Pines. I agree with some of the other posts that he should have his medical license revoked!

It makes me sad to see the bad reviews of Dr. Boutros! I had a nerve study conducted this morning and was thoroughly satisfied by the doctor and his staff. Everyone was kind, gentle, and had excellent bedside manner.

Stay away from this witch doctor impersonating a neurologist. He does not listen to his patience and because of his arrogance he turned my life upside down. He should have his license to practice medicine revoked.

Don't go to this doctor. This is one the most unprofessional clinics I have ever seen. 1- The reception staff are very rude and unhelpful. 2- They very rarely answer their phone. When you leave a message they don't return your call even though they say in the message that they will. When you go to the office and you tell them that you left numerous messages they say they never got them. Give me a break, I know how things work. 3- You come for an appointment on time and they keep you waiting for over an hour. This happened to me and my wife several times. Why? Our time in not valuable? 4- The doctor comes in without any documents or anything that indicates he is following your case. He works out of memory. You are expected to remind him of your case. 5- The doctor spends minutes with you then he hurriedly leaves. You are left not knowing what had happened. 6- When you leave, you have to sit and wait for the "kindness" of the staff so they give you your prescription or… make your next appointment. This can take another 15 minutes or more. Don't go to this doctor. I will go to San Diego and not go to this doctor.

The office manager has the worst public relation skills of anyone ive ever met in my life. She is rue, cuts you off when you talk, is rejecting Dr Boutros patients by simple things that just reqire bringing in verification he would bashamed of her bedside manner. She is horrible to the patients should not be in charge of a office!! RUDE

Informed by staff to arrive early for paperwork. Came in 30 minutes prior for a 5 minute paperwork update. Waited 1.5 hours from scheduled appointment. Staff is as good as a McDonald’s drive through. Doctor seems like he hates his job and is impatient with patients. Doesn’t explain what he is doing or what you’re gonna feel prior to testing. And becomes impatient if you don’t respond accordingly. PLEASE FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!! I will!

I had an EMG/Nerve Conduction Test done today and Dr. Boutros was wonderful. He plainly and clearly explained the procedure and seemed so knowledgeable regarding the muscles and nerves. Thank you Dr. Boutros!

Dr. Boutros is very knowledgeable and efficient. He even helped me diagnose a problem out of his specialty. He is a little impatient and his bedside manner is a little curt but he knows medicine and that is why I saw him so I am very satisfied.

The worse I’ve ever been to. After two and a half hours of waiting , we told him how unhappy we were to have to wait so long . He let us know he didn’t care to see us and told the office clerk to show us the door. Never go to that person again. It must be his relatives that gave him good marks.
