Dr. Raja M. Kaikaus, MD

I recently had a stent put in my bile duct and pancreas. The day of and after we’re horrible. The pain is unbearable. He never talked to anyone to explain what he seen in there and didn’t even talk to me after. You can not ever get a hold of him. He takes weeks to return your calls. No bed side manor at all. I thought doctors are suppose to care about their patients. It is just all about money.

Dr. Kaikhaus was the most arrogant doctor I have ever seen in my life, my regular GI doctor sent me to him for a procedure and he told me he saw absolutely nothing wrong during my endoscopy and EUS but when the radiologist read it I had multiple issues. Good luck getting any test results from his office you will just have to keep calling every day for weeks on end to get ahold of someone with the worst attitude on the planet just to hear they will call you back another day. Avoid this doctor at all costs. This has been the worst experience of my life. And on top of it you will pay a fortune to never get the results of what you have done with him.

Per the office manager once you call for results the office procedure is to return the call in 3-5 business days. Because they only have one nurse, they are hiring a second nurse. Once this is a done they will no longer give results by phone. They will mail them. I asked for an appointment first one 60 days out. I requested a call back from Dr. Kiakus have heard nothing.

After a week at being at clark county hospital and continually getting worse, they transferred me to Jewish Hospital where I then had Dr. kaikaus as my physician. What a blessing that was. It was a long road but I truly believe I would be dead today had he not been my doctor. He always come to see me each day and sometimes it would even be 7 or 9 at night when he was finishing up his long day. He knows what he is doing. For me, I had no idea what a pancreas function in the body even was. Did they explain it to me well? Not really, I think they deal with this sort of thing everyday and assume we know these things. But that is ok as long as he "the doc" does. :-). So to you Dr. kaikaus, my husband and I are truly grateful and thank you for all you did for me. I pray I never have anymore issues with the pancreas ,but If I ever do, Dr. Kaikaus will be the doctor for me. It is hard to get appointments but u can usually see their np quickly and if something serious going on, then they… will take care of you . He is the best of the best!

If you are looking for a doctors office that takes weeks to even schedule an appointment, this is the place for you! It has been over 3 weeks since I tried to make the appointment and I still have not been able to make it. I have called several times and each time they say they can't make the appointment at that time. They say that they will call me back and they never do. This office seems very unorganized and seems to not care about their patients. I know that when you are working in a doctors office it gets busy and it can get stressful. I know, because I worked in one for a couple years. That is no excuse for treating there patients like this though. I'm so glad that I've spent all this time trying to get help to feel better from an office that does not care about their patients, when I could've been looking for an office that actually wants to help me. I would not recommend anyone to this office. Courteous Staff: I would give a -5 if possible
