Dr. Motiwala is very attentive, conciencious and thorough in his analysis of a patient. He makes recommendations that would suit your personal health choices. He is not pushy. Unfortunately, I think he may have retired.

He diagnosed my rare condition after dozens of doctors and a long rest period.He charged 200 cash and sent me directly to the specialists at the University hospital. He did NOT demand a follow-up but insisted I get a "firm" diagnosis (which includes lots of expensive tests) at the hospital.In essence, the man is unpretentious, because he was spot on (correct) but did not order the expensive tests himself, knowing they are usually done in a hospital setting. Also, he knew that I had no insurance and I quickly got insured by NYS Medicaid. I have never properly thanked Dr. Motiwala, nor did the "genuises" at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital wo stil probably belive they found my dx. He obviously cares more about his patients than his bank account.Yes, I live in New York and my mother took me to a doctor in New Jersey, because he methodology for diagnosis is the best.
