Horrible doctor, cancelled a scheduled appointment for my mother because he has somewhere else to be, and my mom is having the worst episode she has ever had, he response is if she is that bad take her to the hospital. Horrible human much less doctor...needless to say we are searching for a new doctor.

Good Doctor

Dr. Desai is the best psychiatrist I have ever been to, I am changing my insurance plan just so that I can continue going to him. Every other psychiatrist I have previously been to has totally ignored my anxiety problem and it seems like they are ready to write a prescription as soon as you walk through the door, but Dr. Desai really listens and he has really helped me with my anxiety and my bipolar disorder. He will really work with you and has an open ear when it comes to treatment and he will give you all the time you need, even if you just want to talk, he is never rushing you out the door. I trust him and I would recommend him to anyone. door

Avoid this doctor. He suddenly with no explanation refused to give me a refill on my Lexapro which is a simple anti-depressant. He was unhelpful and not very knowledgeable and his staff were absolutely awful.
