Dr. Rajendra Dhar Badgaiyan, MD

Badgaiyan decided within ten minutes of my first visit what my "problem" was, and ignored all I told him about my 30-year history with depression and ADHD afterward. He kept insisting that he was "the expert" on ADD and ADHD, dismissing or talking over what I told him about my symptoms, history with medication, and reactions to medication that he prescribed. His manner was totally unpredictable; one visit, he'd be caring and engaged, another, he'd be brusque and dismissive, and another, he'd be completely spaced out. He wanted me to participate in a clinical trial he was running; when I refused, he seemed to lose interest in me as a patient. Finally, he announced one day that I did not have ADD, and refused to prescribe the medication he'd been writing for me for several months. I went through two weeks of terrible withdrawal.Badgaiyan should stick to bench research. He's a bad doctor who shouldn't be allowed to treat any creature living outside a petri dish.
