Dr. Ralph Abraham Jackson, MD

This is by far the worst doctor's office with the rudest staff and the least compassionate doctor I have ever met. I have been to this office three times and after speaking to a nurse on the phone today I will not be returning. Before my first visit I filled out all of my paperwork online, which was meant to be a convenience for being a new patient. However, when I checked in I was asked to fill out my paperwork again. It was a minor inconvenience and I told myself it probably had nothing to do with the office itself. My second visit I asked to change the brand of birth control I was prescribed. They literally prescribed me the same birth control, just one of the generic brands. When I spoke with the nurse to fix the issue after I saw the paperwork, she flat out accused me of being the one at fault for the mix up and told me I would have to come back for another office visit in order for it to be changed, even though I spoke with Dr. Jackson during the initial appointment.… My third visit was an annual check up and to update my prescription. I had just lost my insurance coverage and knew I would have to pay out of pocket. I paid almost $200 to sit in the waiting area 45 after my appointment time, then waited an extra 15 in the office for Dr. Jackson to ask me a couple of questions and send me on my way. No bloodwork or "checkup" of any kind. I called them today to request a refill and was told I would have to come back for another visit in order to receive the refill. I understand that doctor’s offices have policies regarding refills, but it hasn't even been a year since my last visit. I am in my 20s and in great health. I expressed my concern to the nurse regarding my lack of insurance (have to wait for open enrollment) and how my last appointment was a waste of time and money. She put me on hold as she "spoke with" Dr Jackson and told me again I would have to make an appointment. The medicine I take is known for having serious withdrawal symptoms and when I explained this to her she sighed and just said, "Well you still have to come in." I asked her if I could speak with him, but she said he was with patients, so I to leave a message for him...although I highly doubt I will receive much of a follow up. Dr Jackson does not care about his patients. He only cares about the money they bring in. Their “policy” is just meant to trap patients. He is a disgrace to the medical field and I will no longer be supporting his business.

Dr. Jackson is an excellent doctor with great technical knowledge. He has a tendency to get to the point which is probably due to his being head of emergency medicane at Gwinnett Hospital.

I've been a patient for about 16 years, my parents were patients before that. Dr Jackson knows my name and medical conditions without having to look at a chart. He still remembers my parents and what they passed away from.. This is in addition to his attention to detail and open mindeness when it comes to complimentary medicine. I am very satisfied with Dr. Jackson

d r . Jackson is a capable ,caring Doctor ,I went to him for years . But the office is so bad run I quit him . Insurance not filed ,filed improper or with wrong company , prescriptions written wrong ,blood drawn by a nurse who forgot the gloves , Several times I talked to them about this and so many mistakes .I gave them many chances , but my health is more important .I gave up .on Dr Jackson . He knows his office is not running right The office manager said They couldn t afford to hire enough people to get things done the right way .Guess He just doesn t care anymore since he is old enough to retire . Wait times were long but that was never a problem for me .Too bad

After calling this office for 5 times, I was transfer around the office like a basketball. This group need to get some phone etiquette. Proper telephone etiquette is very important in that you are representing your Doctor office. Remembering to use proper telephone etiquette, whether answering the phone or making phone calls, leaves callers with a favorable impression of you, your department, and the care you are receiving.

I was shocked at the amount of time that I spent in this office. The entire experience was just awful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jackson's for over 15 years and he truely does care about your health. I remember a time (before managed care took over) he would spend time in the room asking enough questions to get to the root of an issue. I have always received the proper diagnosis and treatment for any illnesses. I 've also been treated by other doctors at other facilities without the same results.

I am new to Dr. Jackson's practice but I am already impressed with him. He reviewed my labs and changed my meds, for the first time in 4 years. I feel that he is concerned about my health and will make an effort to help me get things under control.

best doctor i have ever met . MOST KNOWLEDGABLE . caring . A VERY VERY BUSY OFFICE . HE DOEAN T SAY NO APPOINTMENT FOR any really SICK . so you may have to wait .
