Dr. Ralph Purcell Pearce, MD

I guess Dr. Pearce had a different approach with you. He didn’t want to listen to my issues and cut me short. I live 2 hours from him so had a friend who lived closer take me to him. It was a total disaster from beginning to end! None of his staff EVER calls you back! I had to get my friend to go back there in person to get answers to my questions which she DID NOT GET, cause Bobbie, his supposed MA stood up for him no matter what! I am STILL waiting for answers and wouldn’t bring my dog to him. His treatment of me was unconsciousable and negligent. I could go on and on but instead I have reported him to the medical board

I have highly recommended Dr. Pearce to my family and friends. I have been a patient since 2000 and he has performed approx. 10 colonoscopies for me. The first time, he remove 6 polyps with three having characteristics of becoming malignant. I finally had a clean colonoscopy 4 yrs. ago. He told me I could wait 5 yrs. for the next one unless I didn't feel comfortable with waiting. My sister died from colon/rectal cancer and he told me at the first visit, we will make sure you don't die from this. Not looking forward to the time he decides to retire.

Dr. Pearce actually saved my life. He has a great staff, they are very skilled and kind.10

5 stars for Dr. Pearce, however 0 stars for his staff. Number 1 Dr. Pearce is an amazing caring doctor, have been seeing him for years. love him to death. His staff has gone down so so bad. I guess there is a new manager there and for lack of better words is absolutely horrid. Now since I have been there he has gotten a new assistant, loved Nichole, was an absolute delight, wonderful at what she does, knows her stuff. This new one Sheri he has, oh my. I don't know what back alley trash can they found her in, but oh my. Not only does she smell like a back alley trash can filled with rotting garbage, but she looks the part too. I cant believe an office in an area like The woodlands would not only hire someone like that but at least tell her something. its gross. Not very good representation of the office. She is also not the sharpest tool in the shed. I seen other staff members on their phones snap chatting, very unprofessional I might add. Will think about changing docs, especially if I… have to smell that woman again. So NASTY!!!!

Dr Pearce is great. I refer all my buddies.

Had to wait 3 hours before having my test done. total time in office was 4.5 hours. No reason for that.

I've used Dr Pearce for many yrs. I was always very satisfied, he was very caring. Until this last episode. I'm thru, will never use him again . He left me hanging in severe crucial pain. I was waiting on gall bladder surgery due to stent procedure. Gallbladder attacks increased while having to wait. Surgeon refused to help with pain until he did surgery . Surgeon also said if I had any flare ups not to go to the ER, we already knew the problem, we just had to wait. Dr Pearce diagnosed the problem & was aware of my situation, the meds he had gave were no longer working. He didn't want to give PAIN meds , said go to ER. I told the nurse here's three Drs & all refused to help me, they have all left me hanging. My Md, he wasn't treating me for this the gastro dr was so no help. Surgeon wouldn't give out pain meds until he did surgery. Dr Pearce the treating Dr. Refused. To give out pain meds, just go to ER. I SUFFERED HORRIBLY. If u ever had gall bladder attacks you know… what Im saying . No Human Being should EVER have to suffer like this, and THREE Drs. Needless to say I'm thru with ALL THREE of them.

I am very shocked by the negative reviews. I am a patient with Crohns disease and have been very sick. I have been sick for the past 2 yrs since I was diagnosed and have seen 3 different Gastro physicians in the area. No other physician seemed to have the concern as Dr. Pearce does and I have never felt better. When I have flare ups Dr. Pearce makes sure I get in right away and even has had his nurse call and check up on me. Dr. Pearce definitly knows what he is doing and he is a very smart man. I am so happy to have found a Doctor like him and very blessed. I hope this review will help some of you. He truly is a BLESSING!

My husband and I both see Dr. Pearce and have been very happy with him and his staff. very competent, approachable and kind. someone must have a beef with him and is using this forum to even the score! do not understand the number of negative reviews.

very busy practice,his knowledge of gastro issues are outstanding. The office has a very relaxed atmosphere. Office staff has instructions for additional testing and colonoscopies down to a fine art.....
