Dr Kelly is amazing. Addressed my issues immediately and I scheduled surgery within the month. No unnecessary testing that I have run into with other doctors. My past doc retired and I am so glad I have found Dr Kelly to replace him. Highly recommend.

I had an Endoscopy on Monday, June 15th my appointment was at 10:30 AM, I finally was called back to get ready at 1:00. My Endoscopy went well, he said he had to get a biopsy of a spot. Went home and within the next three hours I kept having bowel movements and my stools were getting blacker (like tar) so I got concerned I called the number they gave me for any problems. I told them what was happening and Please have doctor call me back. Never got a callback!! I started having sweats along with each black stool. Finally at 1AM went to Methodist Hospital in the Woodlands, they checked my Hemoglobin count (it was 11) and did a CT scan they said they could do nothing until my hemoglobin count was under 7 so they sent me home. I still kept trying to get in touch with Dr Kelly with no luck late Wednesday I had a really Large dark tar stool and was sweating again so we decided to go back to the ER to get my Hemoglobin checked one more time. I kept feeling weaker with each bowl… movement. This time my hemoglobin was 8.4, still not low enough to do anything. They decided to put me in observation ER to watch me around 3 AM in the morning they checked hemoglobin and it was 7.2 so they scheduled another Endoscopy for 5AM. They did find bleeding in my esophagus and had to stop the bleeding. I had to have. Unit of blood and a bag of iron. My hemoglobin finally came back up and I got to go home Thursday evening my hemoglobin was 8.4. I am still really tired and recovering. Still no call from Dr Kelly!!!

I have been twice there this year and I had good experience both time. I recommend it to anyone who needs an endoscopy done

I was very impressed with the staff at this hospital. Everyone was very pleasant and professional nurses, doctors , and operating room staff. Hospital was very organized and very clean.

I highly recommend River Oaks Endoscopy. They make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way and knowledgeable about everything being done. The staff was absolutely incredible.
