Dr. Shail Maheshwari, MD

I am deeply disappointed by my experiences with Dr. Maheshwari. During my appointments, I found his manner to be unprofessional and discourteous. His communication style felt aggressive and rude, which made it difficult for me to focus on my health concerns. This created a distressing environment that, in my opinion, impacted the quality of care I received. Based on my experiences, I am considering submitting a formal complaint to the medical board regarding his conduct.

Dr. Maheshwari is very professional and caring. He answered all of my questions and concerns. The staff is very friendly and supportive as well.

This was my second appointment with Dr. Maheshwari. I found him to be both knowledgeable and thorough with a sincere interest in helping his patients. He is both professional and personable with a very pleasant demeanor. Thanks to Dr. Maheshwari my condition has greatly improved. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a Gastroenterologist.

Love the doctor. But the staff are rude, and if you have a question you won’t get an answer. They mixed up an appointment and charged me for not coming. You can plan on waiting at least a week to get in. One month and I am done. Wish my old gastro wasn’t retiring. All three Voicemail messages to the assistant never answered. The supervisor was supposed to get back with me about whether I should take my biologic for a week now. No call back. Asked in the portal and it says drink pedialyte. No explanation. Nothing. Too bad. This doctor knows his stuff.

I can't say much about the doctor I saw little of him, but his office staff have a poor way of helping patients. I never got answers. It's true, you can wait and wait you will never hear back.

This office , staff and I will not call this person a Dr. I Was suppose to be treated for a serious illness. He came in and ordered a bunch of blood work. Never heard from them again. It has now been 3 months and have never seen or heard anything. Do use this office at all they will do nothing to help you. I have gotten another Dr.

I first made Dr. Maheshwari's acquaintance when I was admitted to the hospital through the emergency room. I was having severe chest pains, but he quickly arrived at the accurate diagnosis, which was pancreatitis, not a heart attack. He was kind and yet firm with what needed to be done. I was wanting to get out of the hospital quickly, although my lipase numbers and pain level were still quite high. He helped me to understand why I needed to stay put and receive proper treatment. Dr. Maheshwari saw me through several diagnostic tests after my release from the hospital and recommended an excellent surgeon when it became clear that surgery was necessary. When he speaks with you, he makes strong and positive eye contact, conveying to you that you are not just a patient, but a person!
