Dr. Ram Prasad Ravi, MD

I saw him for my physical disability evaluation and I never felt so disgusted by a doctor in my life. Especially for a disability evaluator, he's a monster. He asked the most vague questions, didn't let me explain my disabilities, interrupted anytime I tried. Rushed through everything so I left his office in immense pain and it hurt to just walk on my two feet. Didn't help me get up or down from the exam bed, just awkwardly watched me. while I was wincing in pain and struggling to move my legs to get down like effing Lieutenant Dan. When checking my lungs, he didn't let me take a full breath so he basically checked my lungs by seeing how hard I can hyperventilate. I also was unaware you could check the limitations of someone's mobility by standing on the other side of the room with a protractor and not actually physically measuring them. He scribbled down anything that he felt I lied about. And by this, I mean he didn't let me explain a word about my limitations. The second I spoke… more than the word "yes", he aggressively scribbled out parts of the paperwork where I had explained myself. This includes the fact that I wrote down my NEUROLOGICAL diagnosis of ADHD and he scribbled it out because, with no genuine explanation, "it wasn't an overnight admission" and "it wasn't for a seizure". I assumed I had to write down hospital visits to show I was diagnosed or evaluated for certain conditions, but I guess Dr. Ram Ravi calls the shots himself without consideration for his patients whom are literally there because they can't have a job and need help financially. The visit was very short, maybe 10-15 minutes if you exclude having waited 10 or so minutes before he came into the room. There was nobody in the waiting room until long after I left his office for my x-rays. I felt so uncomfortable around him, he came across as cold, stern, and soulless. If you're going to be a doctor for people who depend on you to get by in their lives while they suffer in pain, at least TRY to be a people person. To those of you who have an appointment coming up for a physical disability evaluation, I highly advise that you try to ask if they have any other doctors. Otherwise I am PRETTY sure you will be turned down or treated like dirt if you see this poor excuse of a doctor.

His profile says he is specialist for STD (sexually transmitted diseases) and X-ray. How such a doctor can make decisions on people's disability? He is just being paid to deny disability, he even doesn't listen, doesn't consider the findings of specialists doctors, and he doesn't conduct relevant medical tests.
