I cannot say enough positive things about Dr Mitra and his entire surgery team! I was very anxious about getting a necessary heart procedure (an ablation). Dr Mitra was calm and patient in answering all my questions and concerns. His entire surgery team had an incredible bedside manner. As the anxiety was increasing heading into the OR his team new exactly how to use conversation and comedy to keep my mind off the upcoming procedure. As soon as I woke up from the procedure I felt like myself again for the first time in weeks. By the next morning I felt almost 100% recovered. Both Dr Mitra and the anesthesiologist were amount the first people to check on me in the hospital the next morning. I am very grateful to have such an incredible team available for my surgery!

I would highly recommend Dr. Mitra. The waiting time was long, but he had been on vacation the week before and I was a work-in, so I expected a long wait time. He is very thorough, very kind and compassionate and makes sure you understand his diagnosis and recommendations.
