Dr. Ramon Antonio Gil, MD

I have never had such a thorough initial exam from any physician since I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Dr Gill took over an hour to uncover my history and asked challenging questions to determine what would be his course of action. He educated me using terms and examples that I could understand He emphasized the importance of exercise and thoroughly explained why he was changing my medications He has a very straight forward manner and stresses the importance of “partnership”. I highly recommend Dr Gil

DO NOT VISIT this dr. He ruined my life. I could hold my head up and experienced no pain in my neck. He injected my neck and didn’t tell me what it really was. After he finished he informed me it was Botox. My head fell forward that day and I have not been able to lift it since. I live with horrible pain every day. My chin actually touches my chest. Do not go to this dr.

Let me start by saying, I left his office with my husband and my head was pounding from the most rudest man, I have ever encountered. Instead of allowing the caregiver to tell what was happening with my husband, after he asked, “What brings you here?”,all he wanted to do was key in on dates. He cut me off when I was about to tell him my husband’s walk pattern. Now, I'm the sole caregiver to my husband who has dementia, and putting up with a very rude doctor, is not what I expected. He must think that HIS WAY OR NO WAY, because of the way he attacked me verbally. He also wants to know exact years, which I was off by ONE year, when he asked another question that didn’t coincide with the first year, I gave. I said I was sorry but I was off one year, and boy did he let me know that I was wrong. All I can say is you can stand his behavior of being self- absorbed then you might be okay. I would never recommend this doctor !!!

Took my home health patient to see Dr Gil, As he was telling my patient his options, Gill told him that he had a friend in Port Charlotte who can do a procedure for him. He told us three times that this specialist cut the muscle in his patient. It is a endoscopy procedure to go down your throat and add botox. (botox doesn't last long). Than he came in the room, yelling and pointing his finger in my patients face and yelling ( you will do what I tell you to do, Make the appt. and see my friend. He doesn't want to hear what you have to say. Go find another doctor. We are. No one deservers to be treated and spoken to like this. Arrogant,kirt, plain nasty.

Quick in out little results , poor care dirty office

Do not use this man. Period.

He is arrogant, angry, lacks respect for women, talks but does not listen and is generally just plain rude. If you have Parkinson's you know how bad stress is for you. I left his office so upset that I do not remember driving home. Stay away from this man especially if you are female.

If you are looking for a neurologist who is rude and arrogant look no further. If you want a doctor who loves to talk but does not listen look no further.

On my 3rd visit expecting a diagnosis I got my Fanny chewed. He denounced the VA ,was upset that I wrote a letter to him asking for a diagnosis, came across as a Complete fool instead of a Pro Doctor. Save your time look elsewhere unless you have Parkinsons skip this Blowheart. My wife was upset and she wasn't a patient but was asked by him to be present. Save your money.
