Dr. Ramon Marcos Sanchez, MD

Dr. Sanchez couldn’t be a better doctor and i am a new patient who would love to continue being serviced by him to get well. But...the evil monster that is JoAnn will inevitably drive this practice under the ground. I was provided documentation/orders to get an MRI and contacted two of the locations that “the office” provided ME to contact. The mri offices only accept paperwork faxed in from the doctor you cannot walk in your paperwork. I called back to the office only to be talked over and berated by JoAnn over and over who in the end told me I had to provide them with the fax info for the company “they” referred me to...ok no prob. I did have them the info several times and the MRI office still has no fax. When I called back to Dr. Sanchez’s office evil belligerent JoAnn says....this is the last time I’m gonna fax anything...how is that? This is contingent on my patient care you could have called the mri office yourself to ensure that they received the proper documentation it… no...that’s too much like right! Dr Sanchez please revisit having this family member as an employee as she is driving away patients who deserve your care!

I’ve been going to Dr Sanchez for 3 years, and am most grateful for his knowledge because it’s lead to some very difficult diagnoses. However, his staff is like a circus show. They don’t follow up on sending information, act like they are not too competent, as if they’re working for free and were at the bottom of their nursing and MA classes (if they went to school). But the worst of them is his “monster in law”, Joanne! This old lady makes you want to forget that she’s elderly! She is the RUDEST person I’ve EVER met in a “professional” setting. She loves telling people that her daughter, his wife, is the Office Manager and Attorney. I wonder if that’s why Dr Sanchez puts up with her. I know he has to be losing patients because I, myself, am very close to walking away. I’m surprised nobody’s reported the office and it’s practices.

Well, Dr.Sanchez is a decent person with sweet heart, knowledgeable in his field, gives u enough and satisfying time to explain yourself and get answers, he is up to date with his information about his specialty, BUT, BUT, his office manager: old JoAnn is pure monster, the rudest most inappropriate person I’ve ever met in my whole life, arrogant , impolite and disrespectful “ MOTHER IN LAW” of the doctor, as I was told!! So unfortunately no matter what, you are gonna meet her there, so even if you have thirst for answers be prepared for the meeting of an unusually rude 80 something years old person whom doesn’t see anyone as worthy of being a human or to be respected but herself, you will sense a halo of fear,boredom and worry from her existence from the staff and don’t worry, if fait have u obligated to speak a word with her you will know how contagious this halo is. And no, she doesn’t have dementia, she is fully functioning pure rude 80+ years old person with disliked… personality and pure disrespect to any human around her, that’s why you WILL see a changed faces every time you go there cause staff who starts working there at the beginning of the month WON’T be able to BARE her till the end of the month. Good luck meeting JoAnn??

The best neurologist that ever existed!!!knowledgable, kind,approachable, sensitive to his patient’s needs... in other words: the best!!! Yes the waiting time sucks, but is getting better And at the end is worth it!

He is a awesome Neurologist but the wait time is unbelievable!!!!!

I see Dr. Sanchez for chronic migraines. He is very thorough and takes the time needed to answer all of your questions. I have been his patient for twelve years. He is always up to date on new medications/treatments for migraines. He has me on a regiment of supplements and prescriptions that have helped, but continues to search for new medications or procedures for me to try so I can get rid of my migraines completely.

Dr. Sanchez seems to be a decent person with a good heart. He is not a great doctor, but he is not a bad one either. He is simply spineless and enabling in failing to deal with the problems caused by his Office Manager, the gorilla in the room, so to speak. Sorry, but that is the best metaphor I could find. His patient numbers have dwindled and the rest of his staff has constantly changed--all due to people finally getting fed up with the Office Manager. I've heard patients come away from encounters with her saying it was all they could do to keep from hitting her. I've seen her being rude to patients referred to that office by other physicians. Her demeanor can turn on a dime, from condescendingly sweet to accusatory. She is either very forgetful or simply won't own up to what she said or did not long before.

After reading other reviews posted online, I'm strongly compelled to follow-up with the other postings that have been written about Dr. Sanchez's office manager. I've been seeing Dr. Sanchez for 10+ years and absolutely cringe when I hear JoAnn's voice on the phone or in his office. She is always rude, curt and down right offensive to anyone other than Dr. Sanchez. She will interrupt your appt time with him and come barging in the room with a supposed question completely un-related to your visit. Dr. Sanchez himself complains about his shortage of staff and having to work such long hours, yet he keeps her employed at his practice. I was told she is his Mother in Law which seems to make things worse from my perspective. The reason there is such a high turn over in his staff is because JoAnn is so incredibly rude to people they can no longer tolerate her and they find another place of employment. I have never in my entire life encountered a person who is as rude and nosy as JoAnn.… Avoid her if at all possible!!!!! She is not a good person. When booking an appointment with his office, plan to spend about three to four hours from start to finish. As to Dr. Sanchez, he is an incredibly knowlegable Doctor and seems to know information on just about any question or topic I pose to him. When I was hospitalized, he came to visit me at 10pm at night and spent almost 2 hours with me showing his concern for my well being. He is a very caring and empathetic Doctor that has great concern for his patient's welfare. A huge Thank You to Dr. Sanchez for his wisdom and care of his patients. PLEASE GET RID OF JOANN!
