We’ve been seeing DR. Solis for many years. He is a great doctor. We definitely recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ramon Solis for many years. His observation and analysis led to my being properly treated for heart problems and sleep Sonia. He insisted to my cardiologist that I get a stress test when the cardiologist said I did not need one. This resulted in the discovery of a significant problem in my heart requiring an angioplasty and a stent, and greatly affected my health. He also directed me to get a sleep study which turned up the need for me to use a CPAP device which handled my irregular heartbeat and allowed me to come off of the medication for it. I am in far greater health as a result.

Dr. Solis has been our family's physician for many years. He is an incredibly compassionate and caring doctor that truly cares about his patients. I never feel like I'm being rushed. Rather, he takes all the time I need to discuss any and ailments. He is extremely thorough.

After being Dr Solis' patient for about 10 years, he seemed good but dropped the ball a few times. He wouldn't help me before my surgery because although I paid him $20 to go to his Tai Chi class just to ask him if my biopsy would be out/inpatient, he said he didnt answer questions outside of his office. By the way, he "recommended" his Tai Chi class to me on his office time where my insurance was paying for that time, handing me an advertising flyer. I went to the biopsy & scared & unprepared. Sure enough, I was turned away "on the operating table" because I hadn't been advised to stop taking my medication. Stuck w/ him however. Then about 4 years ago, he went the MVP route for an extra $1260+/year per patient, for "more thorough doctoring". We thought doctors were already supposed to be giving that kind of care. We felt it afford unnecessary & went with another doctor, who was excellent without the extra cash in his pocket. Last year, a good friend of ours who had… remained w/ Solis' MVP was hospitalized. We visited him in the hospital, and attentively, Solis had been in that morning. The same moment, we visited another friend, same hospital, same floor, who although not a MVP member, happened to get Solis as "his doctor on call". He said Solis breezed in, breezed out, wouldn't answer any questions, & stayed less than a minute. I assume Solis was employed & paid by the hospital as "the doctor on call". Regarding his competency as a doctor, before his MVP, he put me on Nexium, as well as putting a good number of my friends on Nexium. He never stopped the Rx & after several YEARS of taking it, I experienced severe bone loss, requiring debilitating major spine & knee surguries. Nexium, if you Google, lost their lawsuits showing the Rx leaches calcium out of the bones. It was said that Nexium should never be continued more than a few weeks. Also, my very first visit w/ the doctor, I was prettier then, he got his face close to mine, stared at me & said "imagine me as your husband." W/ his one-earringed ear, his spiked & highlighted hair, I look back wondering why I wasn't wiser in my blind trust of doctors.

I went to Dr. Solis because I thought my husband had given me an STD - my husband went as well - he totally shamed me telling me I was just wanted him to tell me my husband had cheated. He totally defended my husband. I was mortified. However, I went to another doctor and my husband had cheated and given me an STD! Dr. Solis even said I needed "help"!

All the doctors in this practice are terrible. They don't care about their patients only the bottom line (money). They don't even have nurses they are all medical assistants or certified nursing assistants. Dr. Solis used to be so caring & considerate... not anymore, really a shame.

I saw Dr. Solis a couple of years ago and he seemed very nice and concerned; ready to help me. My mother was also a patient of his for a short period of time and neither had a problem; however this past weekend my stepfather was admitted to a local hospital after having chest pain. Dr. Solis happened to be on call. I remember being excited to hear his name and when he walked into the room to speak to my stepfather, he rudely interrupted my mother when she was trying to explain something that happened during the evening shift related to bad reaction to a pain med one of the nurses had given my stepfather. He then proceeded to tell my mother that he was speaking to my stepfather, not her. After a few more harsh words, he quickly stormed out of the room. I think both of us were in such shock that this Doctor who we both really respected in the past had developed this horrible attitude and disrespect. I don't know if he was mad that he was on call or maybe he's too good to be doing… rounds, but I hope he looks in the mirror and has a change of heart before he loses many patients.

Dr. Solis is always interested in not only my health but how my life is going. My husband is also a patient and Dr. Solis always asks about him. I am eagerly awaiting his MDVIP to begin so I will again, have more time to spend with him during an appointment.
