Worst doctor

Told me I was fat at 8 months pregnant, I had gained 36 lbs instead of the 30 lbs she wanted me too, I weighed 134 going into my pregnancy. Didn't called to tell me I needed a second ultra sound. Just waited for the hospital to call me and asked why I didn't make the appointment when there might be something wrong with my baby. Refused to answer any medical questions I had during my post partum visit and told me I wasn't enjoying my new daughter because I was worrying to much. They were simple questions. Love every other doctor in the practice and the nurses are all wonderful! Dr Marsh was just cold and hurtful.

I swear to God, the positive reviews are probably phony ones written by the doctor herself. Very condescending and blows you off. Nothing like I have ever experienced.

Just went back to Dr Marsh after a 5 year absence on my part (my bad). Drove a distance to make sure that it was her I saw. She is the best! Never see a condescending attitude from her, and have always appreciated her honestly. Thank you, Dr Marsh!

In response to the previous reviewer - NO, I do NOT need to be coddled and babied, nor do I expect that from a clinician. BUT, I do expect communication, professionalism and to be taken seriously about my concerns. This isn't my first rodeo, I am nearly 50 years old with two children. We've had to move due to job relos, so I have had experiences with both excellent and sub-par doctors. I left this practice because I did not appreciate her condescending attitude and the way she blew everything off. I am very happy with my new practitioner.

I started going to Dr. Marsh when she had her own practice in Downers Grove. She has always taken time to listen to me. I have never felt dismissed by her when I’ve shared my concerns. Does she baby you and feed into unrealistic concerns... no. She is very honest and straight forward. I’ve now had Dr. Marsh as my OB for over 16 years. She has delivered 1 of my 2 kids and the experience with her delivery was all around better. I highly recommend Dr. Marsh and have personally recommended her to 2 of my friends who now see her too. I would not want any other doctor

Worst experience of my life

We moved here a year ago and I needed to be established quickly so I could get my mammo. The first meeting, I wasn't horribly impressed. Pleasant but something wasn't sitting right. I felt like she dismissed everything. I remember her remark that women in perimenopause who say they have up and down emotions due to hormones are just wrong. It is all in their head and basically insinuated they are weak. That was flag one. Now, time for my annual. ugh. Lab results come in and I look on the stupid portal. She says "all good, negative" ..but then I read. Ummmm...no! I have pre-cancerous cells! She doesn't call to tell me?? I message her to ask what this was, remind her I was having symptoms of pelvic pain, etc. and I wasn't happy that I wasn't notified by phone and that she didn't even tell me via the portal, I had to read the results and ask. She comes back with - now we will just test yearly instead of every 3 years. WHAT?! No further explanation. I am done. She is a… disaster. I have a say in my own health!!!

Just absolutely awful. I would never recommend Dr. Marsh. Total waste of time. She is callous and rude and just terrible at her job.
