Dr. Ramona Mihu, MD

I trust Ramona completely! I have been her patient for almost 3 years! She takes the time to listen to you and never rushes you out the door. I had been to 4 other Dr.'s for the same problem! She fixed it! I would recommend her and have to friends and family! Superior!!

Doctor Mihu genuinely cares about me and my concerns. She makes suggestions regarding my care while taking into account how I am doing across multiple areas of my life. Her staff is always friendly and returns my calls in a timely manner. They're professional and also easy going and easy to talk to no matter what situation arises. My first visit to see Dr. Mihu was one I hope to repeat in my subsequent visits. She warmly welcomed me and introduced herself. She listened intently; asked for clarification; actually reviewed all organ systems and asked pertinent questions about my medications. She ordered X-rays that were performed in the office! No need to go elsewhere or home wondering where to go to obtain the X-rays! She also ordered blood work, explained none of the tests required fasting, and asked to complete the blood work before our next visit. Finally, she discussed what might be going on in my body beyond why I sought treatment. I would definitely recommend her (I am a nurse who left CA 4 months ago for TX so I had no preconceptions). I will be returning to Dr. Mihu.

I have been to a few other rheumatologists over the past few years. None were as thorough as Dr. Mihu. She also explained my x-rays to me and made things so understandable. She diagnosed me with an additional type of arthritis and immediately started me on new medication with samples before I left the office. She is also extremely personable and makes you feel as if you are her priority even though she has so many other patients to see after you leave. I highly recommend her!

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Mihu. She truly puts her heart and soul into her patients. My husband is a complicated patient, and she has never given up on him. We cherish our relationship with her because it is rare to find a physician like her with the knowledge, experience and heart she invests in her patients. She really goes above and beyond to give him the care he requires. She even admits him to the hospital the rest of his specialists practice at although it is an hour drive for her, and she makes it every day to check on him. Dr. Mihu is truly extraordinary! With a chronic illness, it is invaluable to have her on our side. We highly recommend Dr. Mihu if you need a rheumatologist.

When Dr. Mihu says call her if you need her she means it. During this COVID 19 I needed her help and she was there for me. Compassionate, thorough, concerned.
