Dr. Randall James Moeller, MD

Dr. Moeller seems to have a communication problem and becomes very angry and overwhelmed when asked for clarification. He stomped around post OP complaining his partner's left for vacation and he was "All alone!" He loudly stated, " I am alone here and YOU GIRLS could be more helpful!!" The nurses were running around trying to figure out what it was he needed. As a post OP patient, I was horrified by his behavior....I felt vulnerable and unsafe. I even stated that it was BETTER that I saw this behavior AFTER my surgery because I never would have gone through it otherwise! I thank the nurses for holding things together that afternoon and untangling the chaos Dr. Moeller created!

My mom just went in for kidney stones and was hospitalized. He did her surgery. This man has no bed side manner at all. Rude and told us that he couldn’t help the kidney stone because she’s “just way too big”. The he proceeds to say that about 10 more times while talking to us. All I have to say is that I am NOT happy with him. So rude.

You will get a procedure without very much in depth consultation about other options and he will give you only a very short amount of time. The emphasis is on maintaining a strict scheduling of priorities, which means you do not get any real consultation and evaluation of your specific situation. As a result you are responsible for doing your own research about the procedure and side effects or complications. They do not want to take the time and are primarily focused on maintaining a system that only allows a patient a small amount of time to be processed. If there are complications, well you DID sign the acknowledgment that YOU understood the risks, and he was not responsible for complications. Be sure that you slow things down and understand, if there are problems, he will probably say that your problems were the FIRST time he has encountered them in a long career, so you basically get pushed aside and out the door. He surrounds himself with employees who enable that process… to be continued. It is demeaning .

Dr. Moeller is fabulous. Very intelligent, knows his stuff, cares about his patients. He is fast paced but he gives you the info you need and he takes care of you. He does everything with a smile which makes the appt even more enjoyable. Dr. Moellers main nurse is awesome also. She cares about the patients just as much and goes above and beyond to do her part in helping. The only horrible thing about the visit to Dr. Moeller (which is not his fault) is the receptionists up front. They are incompetent, not professional, unorganized, can't answer phones properly and really dont belong in a doctors office. If you can get past them, you will be VERY happy with Dr. Moeller.

Poor interaction with patient and parents, obtuse attitude, mis-diagnosis.

He took his time and explained all the options and risks. He was very professional.

Been a urology patient of Dr Moeller for about 5 years. I expect good services from my professionals (I am one too) and don't hesitate being critical. I can only say good things about Dr. Moeller and his staff. The past week he performed an unpleasant test on me, the results for which I had to wait a few stressful days. He made the test as easy as possible and called immediately with the results. He does a great job of explaining things. He is very calm and doesn't rush through procedures. He is a good listener, gives good and complete answers and has always stays with me until all my questions are answered. His advice is always solid and tailored to my personal situation. He deserves top marks.

My pain was trivialized. I found him to be skeptical. I was embarassed by him talking to me in the nurses area around other people about my pain and the treatment he was suggesting.

Great diagnosis of a difficult problem. Ran needed tests and discussed results in detail. Provided my options, but did give a specific recommendation. I took his advice for surgery which he performed in competant, professional manner. The result was great and consistent with his expectation and my hope. I highly recommend him.
