Dr Randall R. Starkey, MD

I saw Dr. Starkey on two different occasions. Each time when I was driving there was a question of whether I had fallen asleep or blacked out. When I saw him about the second episode he had no notes about the first occurrence. At the end of the second session he told me that it was equally been probable that I fell asleep or that I blacked out. But to cover himself he submitted a report to the DMV which caused them to suspend my drivers license. Given the circumstances, there was absolutely no reason he should have done this. He is medically and ethically unfit to practice medicine. Not only did he make a questionable ethical judgment, he provided absolutely no help in helping me determine if any issues I had with these episodes. In his office his head bobs around like a bobblehead which makes me seriously wonder about his ability to continue to practice medicine. I wound up turning to my primary care physician and my cardiologist to get the help that I really needed. I certainly… will never see him again. Not only would I not recommend him, I would advise anyone considering a neurologist to avoid him completely. Due to all of my medical conditions, I see a number of doctors and all of them are good. He is without a doubt one of the worst doctors I have ever seen.

Dr Starkey is a good doctor but his receptionist is rude and obnoxius. We channged doctors because of the way we were treated by his receptionist. It's amazing that the doctor allows her to get away with mistreating patients.

Dr. Starkey was easy to talk to, took the time to explain his diagnosis, supportive, knowledgeable, professional, encouraging. I strongly recommend him.
