Less than 5 months after arthroscopic knee surgery I was in pain again. I should have considered his credentials more closely. As a 55+ year old woman, he was use to working on teens/young adults/athletes. In my case, too much meniscus was taken (not really considering my age & ability to recoup would be different from a teen-sports athlete person) and I'm still paying for that with pain and facing total knee replacement, delaying it as long as possible. Plus, on my pre-op visit only his less-than-pleasant PA showed up; I had to ask to speak w/the Dr., creating tension. (That PA is no longer there)

Dr. Schwartzberg did a phenomenal job on my ACL reconstruction. Him and his staff are very helpful and positive! I am very lucky to have had him as my doctor and surgeon and highly recommend him.

I went to Physical Therapy that was located in the same office and all of the therapist did a great job. Was it fun, no, but they pushed you just enough to get your range of motion back as soon as possible. I went for a four month follow up with Dr. Schwartzberg and I was not as far as I should have been. He gave me a cortisone injection
