Dr. Ranjan Shanti Roy

Dr. Roy performed a major surgery on my back in 2008, and they were very nice to me at the time. But.... Today, their office refused to see me this morning because I have an "open WC Case" The worker's comp company has not approved nor denied my case but they are not paying for anything, so I was instructed by my attorney to have things filed on my insurance and that we would mediate to try to get repayment of services. I am in constant pain from the injury and was hoping that Dr. Roy could perform his magic on my back again to help me, but I was treated with total disrespect and rudeness!!! I took the day off of work for this appointment and at no time was told that the WC issue would cause any complications. I am so disappointed in how they treated me and doubt if I would ever go back to his office even when the claim gets closed!

Cannot thank Dr. Roy enough. Just released from my second neck surgery. Went as explained and recovery went well. Have recommended to so many people. Thankful for him and his staff!

Dr Roy is the best doctor I have every had for surgery. He explains every thing so you can understand, and he follows threw with what he says

Over 20 years ago Dr. Roy operated on my husband, removing 2 cervical discs. We did not know him, or anything about him, but we knew immediately my husband was in exceptional hands. As an RN, I see surgeons as Master Mechanics. They run the diagnostics and have the skills to fix the problem but Dr. Roy takes this to another level. His focus is not only on fixing the problem at hand, he educates you on what to anticipate from you body in the future and how to better care for it. When my husbands back pain became intolerable this year, there was no discussion about who he wanted to do the surgery. It was Dr. Roy or no one. As before, surgery went perfectly. My husband holds himself. erect as he has no leg or back pain, and with this improvement, his need for chronic pain medication has lessened. It is not only Dr. Roy's exceptional surgical skill that impresses us, it is Dr. Roy, the person, honest, forthright, caring and committed to each person in his care. We are blessed to have… him.

For a long time I have been having trouble with my legs. I had a hard time walking and didn't know what to do. I finally went to a doctor to see what was going on. They did all different types of test. I then was referred to Dr. Roy. This was the best thing that happened to me. He did a remarkable job. He was very kind and understanding. Upon our first meeting, everything moved very swiftly and I was having surgery the next week. Thanks to Dr. Roy, I am all better now. Dr. Roy is an awesome doctor as well as an awesome person. He operated on my back last Feb. and I am now pain free. I have never heard anything negative about Dr. Roy and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Roy treated my 85-year old mother who had a debilitating level of pain. After being treated by several doctors with no relief, she saw Dr. Roy. He diagnosed her problem, performed surgery and she is now pain-free! He and his staff are all very caring and wonderful to deal with. I would recommend him to anyone who requires the services of a neurosurgeon.

I had excruciating pain in my feet and legs for at least 3 years. My primary doctor recommended Dr. Roy and I will be grateful forever. The pain in my feet and legs was completely gone when I woke up from his excellent surgery. He is an awesome doctor and is very personable and easy to talk to. Thank you, Dr. Roy!!!!!

My husband went to him for neck surgery and the surgery went very well and he has full use of his arm and the pain and numbness is gone. He is honest and straightforward and is a doctor that you can trust.

I drove 250 miles to have Dr Roy operate on my back. This is my fifth surgery and everything went well.
