I’ve been a patient of Dr. Patel since I was diagnosed with low prostate cancer. He is very thorough and straightforward. My psa was high and he recommended that I be checked in two weeks to verify those results and recommended follow up.

I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and so i needed to have a prostate biopsy to determine exactly what type and stage cancer i have. My urologist happened to be on an extended vacation so Dr. Patel, another urologist partner in the same group opened up a spot in their schedule and got me in for the biopsy in a couple of days. Thanks to Dr. Patel for arranging this!

I went to see Dr. Patel for elevated PSA levels. Dr. Patel seemed very knowledgeable in this area did not beat around the bush when I came to why it could be elevated and if any procedures needed done, what those options would be. I appreciated the straight forward talk. Luckily my psa dropped back down to near normal levels, but because they weren't quite down to where they should be he wanted to see me again to make sure they weren't elevated in the future. I would recommend him to my friends and family

Had a vasectomy with Dr. Patel. Procedure went fine but waited over 2 hours, never got out of pocket info until walking in, nor it’d they do a day before contact as they had said. Already arranged schedule so stuck with it. Talks faster than anyone can comprehend. First name says it... Rush Patel

Dr. Patel removed my kidney by cutting a 9-inch opening and repeatedly squeezed my kidney until it was small enough to pass through the incision. While most doctors use robotics, Dr. Patel used a procedure that is commonly used in 3rd world countries. My recovery time was more than quadrupled and so was the pain. GET A SECOND OPINION - DON'T LET HIM OPERATE ON YOU.

I went and saw Dr. Patel after a poor experience with another Columbus based Urologist. He restored my faith in Doctors. Very helpful and comforting. Explained everything to me and took time answering all my questions.
