Dr. Matta is the last of a dying breed -- the old-fashioned doctor who puts his patients first.

Fantastic doctor. Brilliant diagnostician, runs lots of tests and gets my insurance company to pay for them. Dr. Matta takes a minimalist approach to intervention, spends lots of time with me, explains his disgnosis and recommendations clearly. Unfortunately, his office coordinator is terrible. The woman who runs the office and schedules appointments is aloof, arrogant, impolite, and has even billed me for services my insurance paid for. But dealing with her is the price one has to pay to see this great doctor.

The office staff leaves a lot to be desired. The lady who leads the office is unfriendly, unpleasant to deal with, and cold as an iceberg. She is indeed a deterrent to visit with Dr. Matta. Since Dr. Matta is so good, I have little choice but to put up with this lady.

A brilliant old school doctor. His staff, on the other hand, are offputting, constantly acting annoyed, difficult and absolutely a pain in the neck

Dr. Matta is a superb clinician, thoroughly up to date on developments in his specialty and beyond. His care and concern for patients widely exceeds any realistic expectations. This doctor is one of the best.
