Dr. Raymond Earl Poore JR., MD

Dr. Poore was in and out of my room often and seemed super distracted when he came into. He was in there for about 2 minutes and told me he'd be right back. I could hear him talking to another patient and i thought that was very unprofessional and conveyed to me that he wasn't concerned about my issues. I visited Dr. Poore for flank pain and frequent urination. I have already passed a kidney stone before and at this point I'm urinating 4-6 times per night and tons during the day. I was told at this point there's nothing else Dr. Poore can do for me after some imaging tests came back normal and he told me to go back to my primary care doctor, who had referred me by the way. I thought that a urologist helped with treating frequent urination.

I couldn't have went to a better urologist. Dr. Poore was extremely knowledgable, very friendly with a great bedside manner explaining with answering all of my questions. He personally called me to tell my lab results after the visit.

Very professional

Going to Dr. Poore's office is like visiting family. Dr. Poore and his staff and the front office all make you feel like you're at home. Rarely is it a pleasure to go see a doctor , But the doctor and staff make it as pleasurable as possible.

I was very pleased with Dr Poore, he is very friendly and knowledgable. The front office was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Tuscaloosa Urology to family and friends.

Dr. Poore ran in and out of the office. He joked continously. Everything seemed funny. His nurse, Michelle, was not friendly, and seemed annoyed to have patients to care for.
