Dr. Raymond Benjamin Stadiem, MD

I have tried on multiple visits over 5+ years to “deal” with Dr Stadiem . I have even brought my Spouse in to make sure it wasn’t just me & possibly a personality conflict . From the very beginning I had to push & push to get the tests done to obtain a Proper diagnosis & to start receiving the corrective Medication. In fact when the diagnostic test came back positive, His statement was “ I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it .” ……what kind of response is that to a Patient who has been suffering with a undiagnosed Thyroid disorder ??? What is appalling to me is that if my Husband had not accompanied me that day & insisted that Dr Stadiem go ahead and order the Necessary diagnostic test He would have continued to push back . I am now having additional issues that I am being told are going to require the ongoing consult of a Endocrinologist . And this is why I am choosing to leave this practice now & look for a more Compatible & compassionate relationship.

Dr Stadiem is an excellent doctor.; in fact, he is the best I’ve ever been to. He is very professional and gives excellent advice.? Dr Stadiem is very caring and takes time to listen. He has helped me get my diabetes under control.

Dr Stadiem, is a data nerd in the best way, tech savvy, thorough, has a strong support team, is quick to respond to online messages and requests... I sincerely cannot say enough good things about him or his practice. He shoots straight, direct and a problem-solver. He’s big on accountability too. All of which you should want in a physician. Highly recommend.

He was very kind. I had a very large nodule on my thyroid that he checked on ultrasound to verify the tech's measurements and worked me in to get a biopsy right then. He took the time to explain what he saw, what the impacts of the large nodule would be, explained every step of the biopsy beforehand and during the process. He also answered all of my questions fully. At no point did I feel like he was rushing to get out. When the biopsy results came back (negative!), he called me directly for follow up and to answer any questions I had. He then made sure I got an appointment with an awesome surgeon.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Stadiem. He is thorough, professional, truly empathetic, and goes the extra mile to PERSONALLY follow up with his patients, often after normal business hours. I trust him implicitly.

I found Dr. Stadiem to be a good listener and willing to even take extra time to look into the material I brought with me into the office. His response to my issues were balanced and seeking avoid negative side effects from medication that may or may not help me. Having lived in a family with physicians, I found his thoughtful consideration of my health issues reassuring and clarifying. He also took the time to reach out later that evening with 2 articles pertaining to my concern, both were helpful. As Hippocrates said, the first order of medicine is to "do no harm".

The staff at this office are great, however, I suggest finding a different endocrinologist within this practice. Because once you see this man you're stuck with him forever. They refuse to let you change physicians. He will not listen to you. He will only look at one test result and ignores all other symptoms with which the patient presents. He will send you packing and doesn't care that you are suffering. This man clearly has no experience looking at the big picture to figure out what is going on. Stay away!
