Dr. Rebecca Chilvers, MD

My husband and I were interested in doing an IUI because I had a condition called vaginismus but we had no fertility issues. After seeing the raving reviews for Dr. Chilvers, I decided to make an appointment. I was also informed by her staff that she had seen some patients with this condition before. I was expecting things to go quite differently during our first appointment but left her office feeling rather disappointed. Dr. Chilvers met with us and just seemed to be typing away on her computer and hardly had any face contact with us. She asked a few questions pertaining to our history then did an ultrasound on me. She then had both of us sit in a small room and had her nurse give us the plan she had filled out for us. Dr. Chilvers didn't discuss the plan at all with us or what the required tests entailed. I hardly got to speak to her nurse because we were quickly interrupted by her billing person. Anyways, I still went ahead with the tests this facility required prior to… getting an IUI done. We then met with her again for a follow-up appointment. She didn't acknowledge us and once again was just typing away on her computer and hardly spoke few words. She just seemed very distracted and didn't seem to have a good bedside manner. I had to get a hysteroscopy done and was just expressing a concern of mine and instead of listening to me and explaining things in a professional manner, Dr. Chilvers got very upset and started basically flipping out at me. Afterwards, she suddenly calmed down and asked if I had any questions. Definitely not after that crazy reaction. I have seen my share of doctors before and never encountered anything like that before. I felt this was handled very unprofessionally on her part. My sister who is also a physician had some questions for her regarding my procedure but neither her or her staff had the decency to call us back. I then transferred my care to another physician elsewhere. I was able to get a myomectomy done with my new physician which Dr. Chilvers would not have been able to perform. Obviously, we were not able to pursue our IUI plans as we had hoped with Dr. Chilvers. So I am just writing this long review to let other people know about my bad experience with this physician. Don't get carried away with the great reviews you see online because I can't help but feel like they are fake and by people who are somehow affiliated with this establishment. This facility just wants your money and nothing more. They won't care about you and what you are going through. Be smart and do your research thoroughly before wasting your time, money, and effort.

After reading all the awesome 5 star comments about Dr. Chillers, I experience the total opposite. She was very short, and very unbother. She never went over my results from my first visit, she never asked why? She rushed me out of her office, feeling confused and defeated!!!! I am happy for those of you who had a successful pregnancy and appointment with her, because she made me want to give up! I am trusting totally in God, and will keep you updated on my new doctor and success!!!!

We are forever grateful to Dr. Chilvers and her team at FST! We finally have our miracle baby and two more frozen embryos that we hope will complete our family in the future! We appreciate the care and detail put into our personalized IVF cycles as well as the care received during all visits and procedures. We would highly recommend FST to anyone in need of fertility assistance!

I trusted Dr. Chilvers but in the end I did not feel that she gave me the attention I was needing. Her office seemed chaotic at times too. I just didn't feel like she listened to what I was telling her.

I suffered from unexplained infertility. Her treatment plan was tailored to my needs and I was pregnant within one year of my first visit with her. Her bed side manner was so good and she always explained all the available options and would patiently answer all our questions. Thanks to her, I am 9 months pregnant now and waiting for my baby's arrival.

Dr. Chilvers is a compassionate, intelligent, and caring doctor who listens, asks questions, and has a heart for couples wanting babies. It truly is a calling for Dr. Chilvers. She calls after hours, works extensively on a plan and when one does not work, she puts another one in place.

I saw Dr. Chilvers when she was working in Indiana. I was referred to her by my doctor since we had been unsuccessful in conceiving. Right away, I knew she was the right doctor for us. She was easy to talk to and made us feel at ease during a stressful time. Dr. Chilvers was very thorough and honest in her explanation of each step. When something did not work, she would come up with a new plan that was tailored to my needs. On several occasions, she would personally contact me to explain things. I appreciated her honesty and direct involvement in my care. When she moved to Texas, she once again personally called to tell me and to talk about what my next steps were. Once I did conceive, I contacted her office in Texas to let her know and she once again reached out to congratulate me. I don't know where we would be without her! I am so thankful for her and the staff we encountered during our time with her. She went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best care and to… explain each step in the process of IUI and IVF. If you are considering seeing a doctor for fertility and are near Dr. Chilvers, I highly recommend that you see her!

Dr. Chilvers was a phenomenal dr... She listened to my needs and appointed me where she believed would help me get pregnant... And with all do respect she was correct.. She was very knowledgable about what she was talking about... Perfect bedside manor! I would recommend her to anyone!! I was pregnant within 6 months under her after trying for 4years!!

My journey began in 2011 and trying to get pregnant. I know being older, it can be harder to become pregnant. I already I had issues with my cycle and worried about getting pregnant. I had been to a few local doctors with no success. I was told about a new dr in Carmel who would be coming up to where I live (45 min away). We had no fertility specialist in Muncie, IN so I was excited and decided to meet with her. She was wonderful from my first visit with her. We did surgery to look and see if there was endometriosis and look at my uterus and tubes. So after that all looked good, but another surgery was needed. She noticed my appendix was in the wrong place but was not able to take it, so another surgery was needed. She wanted to be safe if I was to get pregnant. So after I healed we started rounds for iui. My ovaries didn't always respond then even more testing had to be done on my hubby. After about four rounds or so of shots, we went for IVF. Dr. Childers and her nurse where by my… side and always available for all my questions. After all her hard work and support. I had five fertilized embryos. Two were put in and now I have a beautiful baby boy, Caleb. He is getting ready to turn one and is my little miracle that Dr.Chilvers helped to give me. She is a sweet, kind, knowledgeable woman that truly cares about her patients. She is a wonderful doctor.
