Rebecca Mcconnell, DO

Dr. Rebecca McConnell is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in non-interventional spine care and electromyography. Her care philosophy centers on guiding patients toward greater function, understanding, and independence. Dr. McConnell earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan, where she also completed an integrated fellowship in medical education. She holds board certifications in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Her academic career includes international research experience as a scholar at the Università di Torino in Italy, where she contributed to publications in rheumatology and rehabilitation and led curriculum innovation efforts. She has lectured to medical students, residents, and peers at national and international institutions on topics including rehabilitation technology, chronic …pain syndromes, and electromyography. She brings a diverse background in massage therapy, acupuncture, and osteopathic manipulation.
