Dr. Rebecca Dawn Rung, MD

I have been going to Dr. Rung for over 5 years now and she is the best doctor I have had as an adult. She knows me by name without having to look at a chart and cares for her patients as a whole person not just a number etc. She desires to be a part of the decision making process on medications/treatments. Dr. Rung responds very quickly to her emails via the Atrium site. I would recommend her in the highest possible terms to anyone.

My husband and I both saw Dr. Rung for years. On my husbands last visit she spent the entire time lecturing him about a personal matter. We switched doctors. Our new physician looked at his PSA scores over the last several YEARS while we were seeing Dr. Rung (those particular scores are not readily visible on the Atrium site for some reason) and immediately sent him for a biopsy. 7 of 12 punches were positive for cancer. He has had a total prostatectomy. My opinion...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Attitude has changed...she is now being paid by the head. Rushed...has missed several health issues.

Doctor tells you one thing, does another. Rung had stated I wouldn’t need to come in every time I needed a prescription, a non-opioid, non-habit forming steroid that I have taken several times due to a chronic health issue I’ve had for 30 years. Apparently, I have no choice but to go back again to the doctors office pay my high copay, miss work and waste over an hour of my life again, even thought I’ve already been there this month. No genuine patient compassion! Doctors like these and healthcare systems like Atrium are main contributors to the ridiculous rise in healthcare costs.

GREAT experience with my child for his physical exam. The office staff is friendly and really made him feel better after his shots. Dr. Rung is WONDERFUL!!! Recommend all my family and friends to this clinic. CFM- Harrisburg gives exceptional care!
