Have had two surgeries by Dr Walker, prolapse and hysterectomy. Brilliant surgeon, very easy recovery and no issues

You will rarely be seen by the DR in this office. Most of your 9 months will be with a PA who lacks adequate knowledge. This office is continuously staffed by South College students who will take your vitals, even if you are high risk, with no double checks. Unnecessary tests abound in this office with many trips to the “cash cow” ultrasound room being a must which leads one to wonder what is going on here! The Dr herself has a loud voice and does rush through office visits routinely. She can be funny and pretend to be your friend on one visit, then the next week, be rude to everyone in the office making you come away feeling uncomfortable and questioning whether you want her delivering your baby! She is therefore moody and dangerous! Please save yourself from going through a bad OB experience and find another DR.

I became a patient of Dr. Walker because my ex gyno retired and left her practice. I had since then two laparoscopies due to my Stage 4 Endometriosis. The previous surgeries were performed by other specialists. I had a post surgery appointment with Doctor Walker when she suggested to start a treatment on Synarell, and after I accepted and was ready to start, her nurse (and don't get me started on her too) called me and stated that 'Doctor walker exhausted all options with me and will no longer treat me for my endo, but was referring me to a specialist'...so I set up another appt with her to make sure and clarify the situation since she said that 'we were going to treat with Synarel'...during the office visit, where I expressed that I didn't think she was a quitter, she stated she will help out by filling out prescription for Synarell, and still referred me to a different specialist because she 'didn't treat endometriosis', my primary care doctor contacted her to inquire about my… situation and she also told him that 'she didn't treat endometriosis', which confused my doctor who asked 'didn't she just do your surgery??? that sounds like *treating* to me'...long story short, I have my medicine and no doctor to supervise my treatment....Save yourself some time and find a different doctor!!!

This practice is just not good. You don’t see the doctor. You get conflicting answers from different nurses. Dr Walker never told me what she actually did during my surgery. Anorher doctor had to get the report from the hospital. What she did was incomplete. They cancelled my appointments and never attempted to reschedule. If you do have an appointment plan to be there over 2 hours. No one is on a schedule. Oh and there is a big dog roaming around the office. It’s a train wreck. I wouldn’t refer anyone to this practice.

Don't bring your teen daughters here if you don't want them on birth control. Dr. Rebecca Walker and her staff pressured my daughter to decide on the spot. She was unsure and they told her she had to decide right then. I got the big bill later. They didn't want me to know, but I was expected to pay the bill. Also, in this office, insurance won't cover a well woman visit for those under 21. I wish I never heard of them! I transferred my daughter's records to a new doctor, and we are much happier now.

I'm finally leaving Dr Walker. I gave her many chances. She always seemed unstable and distracted. Talked about her divorce and complained constantly. Always about her.

I LOVE this entire office! Dr. Walker delivered my baby and she was wonderful. Melissa helped me through the whole pregnancy and she is the best!!

Maybe I saw her when she was having two bad days, but this woman is a head-case. Complained about HER divorce proceedings, barely asked me about my history, & didn't even poke her head in when I had my new patient visit. Sorry, but as an MD, personal issues should be left at home!

STAY AWAY, If you value your health please stay away.

Dr. Walker completely ignored our birth plan, constantly tried to force us into birthing and care options we were not comfortable with, completely deserted us for 13 hours after breaking my water and inducing labor, then forced a cesarean on us. Do NOT see this woman if you have any opinions on your own care whatsoever!!!
