Reid Taylor’s remark to me while my daughter was in the trauma unit was,”We will see where your God is when we unplug her.” Told me I should have no hope. My daughter did pass away, and received no compassion from this dr. He has no bedside manner, and is very disrespectful. No mother should had to experience what I had to with this man.

Me = male, high stress, normal weight, colesterol normal, very healthy, nonsmoker. 1985 to 2000 I had about 8 TIA's. Years at Dr Milett's care in Covington LA, no cure, 2nd visit with Dr. Reid Taylor here in Asheville pointed out the possibility of a Foramen Ovale not closing . A visit at the Mayo Clinic, same opinion. Closing the opening by Dr Johnson in 2001 gave me a new life. Now at 69 I am taking no medications at all and not 1 episode with a TIA anymore. I met Dr. Taylor in the ER at MIssion Hospital in Asheville, N.C. at 3AM. Me & my 21 year old son were waiting for decision from staff RE: admitting my son for surgery or sending us home and take a "wait and see " approach to my sons brain surgery ! Dr Taylor took time listening to my sons explanation of his hydrocephalus & numerous past surgeries. He reviewed the CT scans chose to admit him, referred a neurosurgeon which lead to successful life saving surgery. He is a caring smart Dr.
