Meeting Dr. Thompson saved and healed my life. Suddenly diagnosed with the discovery of a brain tumor from an emergency room visit and thrust into a "world" of fear, new medical terms and conditions; I was more than scared, I was overcome. After my diagnosis, I reached out to be seen by Dr. Thompson. From the moment he walked into the room, there was a sudden peace. Dr. Thompson speaking with my family and I about my brain tumor, surgery and answering all of our questions brought light into what was darkness. My surgery went incredibly well and the care received after and still during my post-op care, even months after my surgery has been more than amazing- it's been a true blessing. Dr. Thompson and his team saved my life and continue to help me heal.

Three years after surgery and I am doing extremely well thanks to Dr. Thompson and his staff. They have always treated me with respect and answered all my questions over the years. I would not go to anyone else.

Dr. Thompson performed brain surgery on my wife's brain cyst. After following her for several years until the surgery became necessary. Dr Thompson is top notch and I cannot possibly express my gratitude to him and what a devoted physician he is. This man works all of the time, people don't realize the personal sacrifices many physicians in these specialties make. If I ever had a brain issue, I would see this man,

We searched the world over to find the best neurosurgeon to resect a large, benign tumor in a difficult location. Dr. Thompson and the staff at Vandy are wonderful.
