Rude staff. Rude doctor. Less than sanitary office. Why would you go there?

Dr. Renata Batko is an amazing doctor. Dr. Batko listens to your concerns and takes a personal interest in the treatment and diagnosis of her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Batko!

I have read some of the negative reports and can state that I have not experienced anything like them in the more than a year of seeing Dr. Batko. Both my wife and I trust the doctor to the fullest extend. She has proven to us that she is up to date on her medical studies and opinions. She is very thorough in her explanations. We are VERY comfortable have Dr. Batko oversee our health.

Extremely bad service, the physician is part of big fraud, she does ask questions unnecessarily and bills for all the services also Emory is supportive of this fraud. Specially for people who come and visit the physician for Physical she charged existing patient visit by asking unnecessary questions and bill, add prescriptions that are not needed as well. When escalated to Emory the hospital system is supportive of her. Medical fraud.

Dr. Batko is up to date with the most recent medical research. Her bedside manner is exemplary; she is kind and compassionate. The office wait may take a bit longer but that is because she is taking the time necessary to meet the needs of each of her patients. She is a true caring professional.

Read the bad reviews. That was not my experience. I find Dr. Batko to be a great physician. She is kind and intelligent. I trust her and her medical expertise. I have had many, many experiences with arrogant, condescending physicians who don't listen, etc. Dr. Batko is the antithesis of those physicians. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Got an appointment for a regular cold. Waited forever in the waiting room, then even longer in the smaller room. It felt like a Seinfeld episode. The doctor was rude, and the staff even worse. Why did she go to medical school? She could've been a vet!

Have to keep our mouth shut or she bills for talking to her! Prescribes unwanted medications. Have to be very careful in dealing with her or else we end up paying a lot !

Extremely long waiting time. For annual health check-up, insurance should cover 100% with no co-pay. The office charges co-pay ahead of time, claiming "you will talk more than just annual check". After being told "I won't", they refund the co-pay. But guess what, at check-out, was charged co-pay - "because doctor talked more than just annual check up". So funny that if the doctor picks up a topic just to get you pay the co-pay so they could file more claims, what a patient could do? Next time either not going back to this doc, or zip the mouth not talking at all!

I never thought about going to the Internet to research a doctor. Bad mistake. Anyway, I wasn't feeling well so I found her listed as one of the general practitioners under my insurance, and the reason I picked her was the quick appointment. Now I know why, probably they've lost all their patients. The whole experience was disastrous. First, I couldn't comprehend why I was kept waiting for 45 min. when the waiting room was empty. Then I found out. The doctor wasn't even there! She even commented to her staff about some shopping she had done, so she wasn't delayed by an emergency or anything. Another 15 min. wait. Then I finally was called in. The doctor listened to my symptoms and quickly dismissed me with a prescription. I had the impression that her mind was somewhere else. Somehow, I felt something was wrong so I decided to go to another doctor, where I was treated properly.
