Dr. Reza Ghanian, MD

Dr. Ghanian has been taking care of me since my stroke 2004. He is a great doctor and I owe him my life. Thank you dr Ghanian from me and my family. Richard Hernandez

I have not met Dr. Ghanian. I cannot get him or the PAC to call me back with information. Apparently they only work part time in the office. I am told "they are gone for the day". I leave messages. But they do not call back. I know they are busy....so am I. Their lack of response is causing me a lot of back u and bottle necking in my work. Do they not have anyone besides themselves to work the case load? Adds up to poor care.

Dr. Ghanian is very easy to talk with - and a very good listener.He is my primary care physician for almost 10 years, I would recommend him to my best friend.The office allows patients to walk-in to se the Doctor - if Dr.Ghanian is not avaiable, his partner Dr. Coates, has always treated me professionally and also easy to communicate with.

Step into his office and the receptionist is so rude when you ask her questions, she pretty much talks over you before you finish asking questions. It's hard to get an appointment on the day of unless you're planning to wait half an hour to an hour. Also, when you're done waiting after all that time, he sees for a tenth of the time you waited. Referrals are such a hassle too, if you want it on that day plan to make an appointment and endure the waiting time. If you can't make an appointment, he'll wait about a week or more before he gets to your paperwork. I got yelled at by the billing lady once, she stormed into the patient room that I was waiting in because she accused me of not paying - I was, just in installments, but I guess she didn't get the memo and thought yelling would be the most efficient approach. Then again, she's just a biller...how sophisticated can her life be? The other doctors and practitioner are good, but the way the office is run is very horrible. The… receptionist needs to take an extensive course in good manners and can learn a few things from the other polite employees she works with. The doctor needs to cut off how many HMO patients he is getting because with the cheap staff that he has (receptionist and biller) he should be putting more money aside because nowadays you pay your workers low, their manners match down to that level as well.
