He takes the time for a thorough exam and to answer questions in a very clear manner. Dr. Ahuja was very kind, thorough and professional. I highly recommend him. He should teach other doctors how to act.

I saw Dr. Ahuja after getting a recommendation from my co-worker who also has diabetes and has seen him regularly for many years for his eyes. I couldn't have been happier with my experience. Dr. Ahuja was very warm, great bedside manner and really took the time to answer my questions about my health issues. He explained more about diabetes and how it affects my whole body not just my eyes than my primary doctor. He seemed very honest and ethical, and very knowledgeable. I also like the fact that he does research and teaching in this area, it shows in his interactions. I thanked my coworker for the excellent recommendation and would send anyone in my family to him.

He is very kind, professional and smart. He explained my problem with details I could understand and took the time to answer all my questions. He really cares about his patients and is exactly the type of doctor I was looking for. I also asked my mother to see him.
