From the moment i walked into Dr Dauhajre’s office I knew I was in good hands. He is extremely knowledgeable and well-trained in his field. I was referred to him by my Orthopedic Surgeon to confirm the diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Dr Dauhajre performed an EMG Examination and explained the results to me. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you.

Dr Dauhajre greeted me with a pleasant smile and a warm handshake. My primary care physician referred me to him because I couldn't sleep at night due to my hands falling asleep all the time. I work as a schoolteacher in Manhattan and require extensive use of my wrists on the keyboard and in the classroom. Besides a nice introduction, Dr Dauhajre assured me everything he was going to do during the consultation was going to give me the reason why my hands bother me. He performed a nerve test (the idea of having it done TERRIFIED me) and kept my mind off the test by talking me through it. Dr Dauhajre is very well trained in his field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Trained in one of the top medical schools and residency programs in NYC. By the time I left the office, he told me what I had and gave me a script for wrist splints to wear at night. I recommend Dr Dauhajre to anyone who is looking for a Physiatrist. In an age where doctors are staring at a computer… and not paying attention to their patient's complaints, Dr Dauhajre makes it a point to write his notes after you leave the examination room and makes you feel you chose the write physician. Nicely done, doctor. A+

I was recommended Dr Dauhajre by my primary care so he can evaluate my neck and hands. In one visit he performed studies to evaluate if I had nerve involvement and then he ordered an MRI of my neck. I had several herniated discs and he started at physical therapy program for 6 weeks. My condition has improved 80% and I’m able to do my normal activities once again. Thank you Dr.

Dr Dauhajre evaluated my back, ordered imaging studies and did nerve tests on me to find the cause of my back pain. Placed me on a physical therapy program and then I felt 100% better. I was asked to see Dr Dauhajre by my Orthoapedic Surgeon in Queens. Prior to performing carpal tunnel release surgery my orthopedic wanted an EMG study to confirm the CTS. Dr Dauhajre is a well read, pleasant physician who takes pride in what he does. He is detailed, thorough and explains the entire procedure as he is performing it. His bedside manner is very empathic. I recommend him to anyone. He treats his patients as if they were his own family members. Nicely done Dr.

I was referred to Dr Dauhajre by my Neurologist for nerve testing. He thought I might have carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr Dauhajre from the moment I entered his office til the moment I left, he treated me with professionalism and explained everything to me. I was scared because I heard these nerve tests can sting. He calmed me down and proceeded with the test and while performing the exam he would explain things to me which greatly helped me. I would recommend this physician to anyone who has muscle, bone and nerve issues. Well done Doctor Dauhajre. Some folks still think some physicians out there require recognition. A+

I saw Dr Dauhajre in upper manhattan. My Podiatrist sent me to see him because I was having back pain and numbness in my right big toe. Dr Dauhajre examined me and did a test which revealed a "pinched nerve" in my back. He put me in a physical therapy program and i got much better and was able to tolerate all my activities. Its been three months and i dont have much pain anymore and Dr Dauhajre taught me the Do's and Don'ts at home. He listened, was well educated, well-read and is very patient! I recommend him to anyone who has issues with muscles or bones or joints.

Dr Dauhajre performed a thorough history and examination. He performed a nerve test which confirmed his initial clinical diagnosis and he was able to treat my condition successfully.
