My husband found a new PCP who cares about him.

Explains everything so that my conditions, etc. are fully understood by me. Takes time with his patients ... never rushes.

I have left this practice after seeing them for many years. They act like they are doing you a favor. And, they don't give quality medical care. They don't care at all. The Office Manager is rude and insulting as well.

I recently left this practice after almost 20 years. They have just stopped caring about their patients.

Great staff. See Miguel most times. Excellent care all around.

All I can say is that Dr. DeAmicis better not retire until I no longer need his expertise!! Great physician and staff! I have nothing but respect for him and receive only respect in return.

Great Staff

Dr. Deamicis, in my opinion, has not been a good provider for my loved one. He allows the Healthcare Proxy to feed him all the information regarding our family member, who was put permanently into a nursing home against her will (she has not been deemed incompetent by a court), yet, he's allowing the Proxy to dictate what goes on with the patient, even though she if fully capable of making her own decisions. He has taken away all communication with the patient, only dealing with the Proxy, when the patient should still be in charge of her own healthcare decisions. This is how he seems to treat the elderly. With a lack of dignity and respect. He does not visit his patient when issues arise, such as swelling, etc. Instead, he sends a PA, or just goes on what the Proxy tells him. Then, he lies about visiting the patient and blames her inability to 'remember' the 'visit' on her slight dementia. He also goes along with other lies the Proxy feeds the patient to get her to believe she is… in the place she needs to be (even though she has family members that are willing to take her home with them and care for her). It is a sick game of control when it comes to the family dynamics and of allowing the patient's Healthcare Proxy to overtstep the bounds of what a Healthcare Proxy actually is. He allows the game to be played, which is also mentally abusive to the patient and goes along with the Proxy's lies and manipulation of the system...not putting the patient's best interest ahead of everything. It's very frustrating to see a doctor get involved in playing the game of family politics, when it ultimately is hurting his patient. I would not suggest this doctor for anyone that is getting up there in years, as it has become extremely clear to us that he completely lacks compassion for the elderly. BEWARE....you do NOT want to see someone you love be treated (or mistreated) the way our family member has been. :(

Excellent Doctor with great bed side manner. Caring, spends time with you during visit. Staff is also excellent and caring..

Terrible patient care! I was a patient of Dr. Richard DeAmicis' for 6 years. Moved to Boston but kept PCP because of history. Called for specialist referral and was denied referral. Had to switch PCP! They would not let me see TOP notch Dr. of my choice and insisted I see Chelmsford specialist that they wanted me to see who I'd already seen! Office Manager is a true piece of work! Total piece of sh#t! They clearly do have your medical care in mind and are playing local politics! Unreal! Felt like i was in a 3rd world country! Avoid!!!
