Don't get me wrong. This doctor is 100% worth seeing. My child was assessed by him and determined to need vision therapy. The vision therapist also gets 5 stars for efficiency, effectiveness, and a positive attitude.My complaint is with one of the ladies that work up front at the desk (Nashville office). I've been sitting in the waiting room weekly for many months and have listened to her answer the phone and get seemingly annoyed with the patient on the phone. I've heard her slam her hand down, huff, and then complain to the other staff member after hanging up the phone. I've heard her talk sweetly to patients on the phone and then hang up only to reply, "Lord, have mercy!" I also feel like her greetings are forced and disingenuous. I've also sensed an annoyance when I've expressed the need to make payments for the more expensive services. She usually barely responds to my request and just grabs the card looking as though I'm putting her out by not having the money. I am very… uncomfortable sitting and waiting each week. Sad because the doctors and nurses are wonderful here!!
