Dr Forster operated on my mother's broken hip and dislocated elbow 13 years ago. Without his consummate skills she would have been in a wheelchair. He gave her 10 years of mobility and a better quality of life.

As a guy who has needed multiple joint replacements ( 2 hips-2 knees) over the past 16 years, I am thankful every day that I was lucky enough to find Dr. Forster for the 1st surgery in 2001, and that he's been available for each of the other 3.....HE and his team restored my" quality of life" ...4 TIMES!!...THANK YOU!!!

I had scope done on knee and went back three times. Leg and ankle was swollen -- sometimes had terrible time walking. Told not my knee. Guess what? It was. Bakers cyst which was leaking fluid. It was drained and I now can walk -- suffered 6 months and became very depressed. I also hated that Fox or Fake news was always on every TV. It is now coming out more and more that they have a sexist racist agenda. Taking my knees elsewhere.

Dr. Forster was very patient explaining diagnosis and options to me. I happened to be there when evidently the office was jammed. The entire appointment seemed rushed. I am planning to call for some clarification of some points.

I had Total Knee Replacement in May 2016 at age 68. Dr Forster was my second opinion. After meeting with him I knew he was the right choice for me. He was professional and gave me more information than I received previously. Two weeks after surgery at first post op appointment I learned I was not alone navigating with discomfort. Others waiting to see the Dr related their ups and downs with recovery. Once the bandage and staples were out I could breathe a sigh of relief. Dr Forster ordered Physical Therapy and I was happy and scared at the same time. PT was rough at first but I learned to "stand up straight" and take it slow. At 6 weeks I was walking without assistance, off all drugs and learning to feel safe driving again. Each day I could tell my stamina was returning. It is now 5 months later and I never thought I would be walking 2 miles a day with no pain. I was told 6 months to a year to be back to normal. Sure I will not be a runner (never was) or do squats (one of my… favorites) but I can still workout at the gym. If the time should come to have the left knee replaced I would not think twice. The team at Orthopaedic Institute of Dayton put the patient first, not just doing another surgery. So happy I made the right choice.

Two thumbs up! Dr. Forster and Sheela (the P.A.) took excellent care of me. They made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process. I was back on the golf course at 6 weeks and I feel like a new person.

No bedside manor, the number ONE knee surgery in the state of Ohio. He. Is blessed beyond measures. His staff are all wonderful. Just smile sometime, it's makes a different.

He's the best total joint guy in town! Has changed my life and I could not be more grateful to him and his team!
