Dr. Richard S Goldstein, MD

I was referred to this surgeon for abdominal truama. He overlooked my symptoms and as it turned out I needed surgery for retroperitoneal abscess that he missed.

Dr. Goldstein did a colonoscopy on me that did not turn out well and required additional surgery by another doctor, but Dr.Goldstein never acknowledged his role in the medical error. Any surgeon can make a mistake -- but then they should own up to it.

Had operation by Dr. Goldstein and have been terrific for over 15 years

Dr Goldstein got me through a very rough time doing the mildest test first. I had 3 proceedurs from him and he was very kind and understanding as were his staff. My only complaint was the waiting to be seen while in a lot of distress. I feel it was because he saw me becuase I was in stress even though he was fully booked. But once my impaction was taken care of I had such relief it was like a miracle.

I had seen other doctors and was misdiagnosed until I met Dr Goldstein.

I tried to make an initial visit, but after a > one hour wait & no explanation, I left. I distinctly got the impression that this was the routine rather than the exception.
