Dr Henegan did a hysterectomy and bladder repair on me and even though he isn’t big on visiting he did an excellent surgery and that’s what I was looking for. It’s been over 10 years now and I am so over having endometrial issues. Kind and to the point is all you need when in pain and need an expert surgeon.

It's been several years since I've had the endometrial ablation but I didn't know any different then. The only pain medication that was given to me to prepare for the procedure, during the procedure and after the procedure was one valium just before the procedure. When I told them that the valium isn't working they just blew it off. Thinking that the procedure can't be very painful, I didn't argue. He stopped the procedure when he thought my "feet where wiggling a lot" due to the pain. My sister-in-law was given a general anesthesia for her endometrial ablation a year ago with another doctor. I will never go back to see him for sure.

Dr. Henegan's visit was quick, he didn't speak much about what my questions were. He gave me a prescription for a medicine without explaining the side effects or how to take it or for how long. He is not personable and lacks sensibility.

No bedside manner. Quick, in and out. He wouldn't look at me when he talked, he kept mumbling about giving me various things but didn't actually..give me any information. I had several issues that I wanted to address, but I didn't feel like I could say anything to him. He gave me a prescription - didn't tell me what it was for or what it was or why he gave it to me and he ended the appointment and excused himself before I could ask questions. It was horrible and quite uncomfortable.

I have seen Dr. Henegan for over 11 years now and he is a great doctor. He has always taken time to answer all of my questions and listen to my concerns.
