I’m writing to express how pleased I am with the care I received from Dr. Richard M. Howell just yesterday morning, and I’m happy to write a very favorable review about my experience with him. He performed surgery for a painful trigger finger that has troubled me for about three years. I found him very personable, professional, and competent. I was a bit apprehensive going in for the surgery, but once local anesthesia was achieved, the surgery itself was a piece of cake. I estimate that the surgery itself was completed in about 10 to 15 minutes. Everyone involved was pleasant to deal with and helpful. I drove home after the surgery and a few hours later went out for coffee with my wife. After only approximately 24 hours since the surgery, I drove my wife to a dental appointment, went out for coffee, and now I’m typing these comments with very little discomfort. I know that any surgical experience can be different for anyone, but mine was trouble free and easy I can’t imagine… that the procedure itself could have gone more smoothly. Charles Glane

I visit Dr. Howell for treatment for Dupuytren’s Contracture in both hands. Dr. Howell treats me with Xiaflex injections. I have had a good result with treatment. Although the contracture returns, I prefer injections to the more serious surgical treatment.

Good to know that my diagnosis was not as serious as I presumed. The doctor knew right away what the problem was, but more importantly, he knew how to fix it. What a relief!
