Dr. Richard Gordon Kennedy, MD

Dr.Kennedy is very informative, any question I have or concern regarding my health he’s on top of it and if he doesn’t know he finds out. Yes you could be in the room waiting for him for a 30 minutes or so that’s because he’s going through your charts or figuring out his plan of care for the visit. I rather wait for him to figure out what to do then be sorry later. The secretaries are very nice and helpful in the office I have no problems with them at all. They go up and beyond there duties to get the job done. If they don’t you must been very rude to them. In all my years at this office I never had a problem. Yes I’m a nurse myself so I look for certain this from my providers and the office. Believe me I’m not letting nothing slide when it comes to my health

I have seen Dr Kennedy many times for several different issues. He has a great bedside manner and made me feel like he cares not just another # . I would give a 5 but have had some issues with prescriptions-(mainly refills)not being sent in a timely manner for medication that needs to be taken daily. In one particular instance I could've contacted sooner rather than waiting until my last couple pills, but was told that it was sent the day I requested. It didn't get sent for several days and I called and messaged the office daily to follow up and was repeatedly told that it was sent. I ended up having to buy a few days worth to hold me over until they finally received it. As far as wait time, I have gone at different time' of the day, maybe I got lucky and came in on a less busy days but I usually was in and out within an hour almost every time.

This doctor, although a seemingly nice person, must be highly unorganized. I have waited well over an hour every time I’ve seen him. That’s not acceptable - we have life’s too and my time is also valuable. Now I will ONLY make an appointment that is the first one of the day. Prescriptions are not sent correctly either. My husband had bypass surgery and needed a refill on his pain meds - 2 days later still isn’t at the pharmacy. Found out it was called to the wrong one and they promised it would be made right by end of day. Well it’s 10:00 pm on a Friday and no prescription was corrected. Well now I assume he waits till Monday??? We’re not talking a cut arm here - he had triple bypass surgery! And no pain meds thanks to Dr Kennedy!

This office is terrible. One time I waited over an hour to see Dr Kennedy for my apt, this isn’t including the time I sat in the waiting room. He doesn’t give good instructions for anything and is hard to follow. The secretaries are rude. Overall every experience I’ve had here was awful. Would not recommend.
