Well I don’t have much to say about the experience I had with Dr. K since I have no memory of it. That’s right 39 years ago this amazing man assisted my mother in her delivery. They both tried everything medically possible in 1985 for my mom to be able to experience natural birth (my mom’s choice). However sleeping beauty here had other plans. Yup they were putting in all the work while I just kicked back and and took a nap. So many unique things happened on the day of my birth in that hospital room. All I know is that I’m alive and if it wasn’t for Dr. K and persuasive techniques with my stubborn then and forever mom to throw in the towel and opt in for a c- section instead. From what I know based on the story told by my mother no more than 8 min had passed since she had signed the consent forms which she almost did not have a chance to sign them due to my sudden drop in heart rate turning this ordinary c-section into an emergency one 35 min later a philosopher was birthed. Thanks… Doc for sharing giving me life with mother. My mom also sends a big thank you for doing an amazing job with surgery and leaving her with a close to invisible scar.
