Dr. Richard J Lane, MD

I went to see Dr Lane about a problem in my throat and the instrument he used to look down my nose to my throat was obsolete, no high tech at all. He said he didn't see anything, and when I said what about my throat sounding like I had laryngitis, he said he didn't see anything and to just live with it...do you believe that one.

Great staff. Young lady at front desk very nice. The one at check out always smilling Entire staff very accommodating.

Surgery was unsuccessful. Physician did not have a great bedside manner. Staff were all on a different page regarding my payment status (regarding copay/out of pocket/balance, etc.), I would leave in tears almost every time. I would not reccomend this office. ***Dr. Andrews is fabulous though.

I am writing on behalf of my mother who is still upset about her appointment with Dr. Lane. I have never met a doctor so rude, arrogant, and lacked as much bedside as this doctor. My mother had a procedure that made her gag, cough, cry, and almost vomit. He did prepare her at all for the effects of this procedure. I asked her if she was alright. His response was she was over reacting. I could not believe he actually said that to her. He asked her questions about a surgery she had over 20 years old, and seemed upset she couldn't remember details of the surgery. He spent more time talking to a tape recorder describing the examination then actually talking to my mother. It took everything in me to conceal my anger and disappointment with this doctor. I would not recommend this doctor to any patient!

I was in tremendous pain with a tonsil abscess. Dr. Lane met me in the ER on a Saturday and took complete control of the situation. He wasted no time presenting me with several care options, then completed a procedure to drain the abscess. With my pain diminshed, I cried with relief. This MD projects confidence, is swift and skilled - a true professional. He didn't have to save the day - on a Saturday - but he did.

Dr. Lane's office has cancelled on ME 2 times now! The first time they didn't even call me 1st, I left work early, drove all the way there to have them look at me like I was crazy. They claimed that they tried to call me, but had the wrong number. Well that's why I gave them my updated number the previous visit! On another occasion I told them I needed to come in right away, I think I have strep, they tell me not until after 4 the next day, so I wait. On my way the my appt, they call me and cancel, only 20 mins ahead of time! How ridiculous is that. Forget them! I went to the urgent care instead.
