Dr Linburg reattached ligaments in my thumb that was incorrectly treated when I was in Asia. Even after 6 weeks being treated incorrectly, Dr Limburg was able to reattach the ligament while I was awake and watching the entire surgery. I recovered about 90% use which was fantastic considering the delay I had before seeing him. He also corrected carpal tunneling in both of my wife's wrists - it has been years with no problems at all. Finally he operated on my 80 year old father's ganglion cysts - he has recovered full use of his hand in a very short time!

Dr. Linburg was an excellent surgeon. He got me right in, and booked surgery right away. Now, after healing from my knuckle being replaced, I'm on the road to recovery!

Dr Linburg is an excellent surgeon who cares about people.

Being a victim of white coat fever ("WCF"), this is one of a few physicians that has the ability to put patients at ease. No rhetoric, condescending attitude - respect with professionalism. Great for WCF's.

I GOT A CALL BACK RIGHT AWAY AND WAS SEEN THE SAME DAY! Unfortunately, he said wait a while longer to see if the pain continued and use ibuprofin a needed to treat the pain. I have waited several more months and still the pain is there. I will be making another appointment to follow up on a course of treatment to deal with this complication post-op.

I got an appointment right away (my issue was a ganglion cyst that was QUITE painful.)Even though I was running late (I went to the wrong 399 Farmington Avenue-my mistake)I was able to get there within 15 minutes, so they saw me. He was rushed, but it was because he had to go to the surgery center. I was very grateful he still saw me! In addition to being late, I had my toddler with me and he was very cute with her (even watching her so I could go to the bathroom (I had to go really badly!) He jumped right in, examined my wrist, attempted RIGHT AT THAT MOMENT to aspirate the cyst (which didn't work) I was so happy to have some action taken quickly bc of my discomfort! Some Dr's (especially with being late) would have made me make ANOTHER appointment for the aspiration...He was able to determine that the cyst was not going to aspirate and told me to schedule surgery. He also noticed that I was looking a little pale from the attempt to aspirate (it was very painful as it was hitting… nerves). He had me lay down and had a nurse watch me and my baby. My only complaint was that the medical assistant told me I couldn't schedule my surgery until I got a release from my doctor bc I was breastfeeding. This wasn't necessary and it held up my appointment for several days. I found Dr Linberg to be confident, competent and caring! I would recommend him. I am having residual pain 3 months later and have placed a request for a call back (they are at lunch). I will post a follow up to this board so I can give further feedback!

Excellent bedside manner and provides a great understanding of the diagnosis. Wants you to ask questions and will not let you leave until he feels you fully understand the diagnosis

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Linburg for years. Combined we have had 6 surgeries done by him. We have sent several friends and family members to him who have come back to us and complimented us on our recommendation.I have never found any doctor who compares to knowledge, bed side manner, professionalism. He never seems rushed, he always seems very interested in what we have to say, he doesn't order tests that aren't needed, he doesn't rush to operate-always suggests non-intrusive ways first, just a great doctor!! If you need a hand/arm ortho, give him a try...you won't regret it! I sometimes get stuck and have to bring my twins with me to an appt. He sits and chats with them, makes them feel comfortable explaining everything he is doing to me and why, tells stories about his own family so they can relate, etc. My only compliant is....He isn't a family medicine doctor however I trust him so much that if he was willing to do open heart surgery on me, I wouldn't… hestitate!!
