DR MRUZ JUST LOVE THIS GUY HES GOT A SINCE OF HUMOR AND HE ALWAYS TAKES THE TIME OUT TO HELP ME AND CARE FOR ME HE MAKES ME FEEL CONFORTABLE HE IS SUCH A SWEETHEART HES LIKE MY BEST FRIEND HE IS THERE FOR YOUR AID WHEN YOU NEED HIM HE TOOK CARE OF ME EVERY SINCE I BEEN SO SICK AND HES THE ONE I TRUST AND WILL ALWAYS I RECOMMAND ANY WOMEN TO GO TO HIM HES IS JUST AN ANGEL:)

This doctor has delivered all 3 of my children and always takes time and is very compassionate. I have been to a few doctors before him and nobody had the personality and kind disposition he had. It was a pleasure.

Dr Mruz caused the death of my baby. My baby would be alive today if it wasn't for him. Jill Edwards and Dr Mruz should not be practicing, they do not value life and are evil.

Several blunders that permanently impacted my general health. He and his associate performed my abdominal hysterectomy. I was assigned to a hospital room across from the noisy staff lounge. I requested to go home after two days stay since there were no quieter rooms available and I was getting little sleep. I also requested removal of my catheter the first night in the hospital because it was inserted incorrectly and burned. Once he OK'd its early removal I realized I had to urinate incessantly. This required that I bend over my nightstand in order to reach the electrical outlet behind it to unplug/replug my IV for each bathroom visit. I did not know I was actually bruising my lower abdomen when I bent over. Prior to release from the hospital he examined my incision, winced, and said it looked like someone 'beat me up.' At the end of my first followup visit to his office he pushed in the extension to the examination table while I was still lying down. No way I could hold my legs… up with an abdominal incision, so my legs fell and my right knee within two days swelled up bigger than the size of my head. I commented to to him that my one knee felt odd after falling down so unexpectedly and he offhandedly commented that I would be 'fine.' So I was hospitalized at home for three months recovering from both a sprained knee and a hysterectomy. The painkillers prescribed for me ate the lining of my intestines, according to the tests I had performed at the gastroenterologist, and I lost 30 lbs. because I could not eat anything but boiled chicken, crackers and water. When I went back for the second followup visit to his office he commented how big my knee was, and that I should get it "looked at." Over twenty years later, burning persists in my groin, and I never regained full, pain-free mobility of my right knee, which will probably require replacement. I have consulted with orthopedic surgeons and specialists at the Center for Advanced Medicine at University of Chicago for diagnosis of lingering problems from this surgery.

I've had ongoing issues with endomitriosis, fibroids & pcos. Dr. Mrus has always taken time to make me feel that he cares for my health personally. I've had several surgeries with him and he always comes through with the upmost care and concern. I truly do trust him with my life and constantly recommend him to anyone looking for a good obgyn

Been going to Dr. Mruz for over 20 years. I personally have no negative issues with him. He delivered both of my children and has seen me through a hysterectomy due to uterine problems. He has been nothing but professional, kind and helpful. He takes his time to explain everything and won't let you walk away unsure. I came right out and told Dr. Mruz that I don't retain information very well and I may ask the same question more than once, especially when I am nervous about test results. he assured me that he would explain anything as many times as I needed. He is a great doctor, to those who didnt have a great experience, thats a shame but not everyone is going to feel the same about someone. I would highly reccommend Dr. Mruz to anyone

Dr. Mruz is the best ob I have ever had any time I have a problem of any kind Dr. Mruz calls in something for me or has you come to the office I have never waited for more than 5 minutes in the waiting room I would recommend Dr. Mruz to anyone. My experiences with Dr. Mruz with my last pregnancy was phenomal I was on bed rest and Dr. Mruz's staff are very sweet and call to check on you. Dr Mruz always takes the time to explain everything to me.

Started seeing Dr Mruz back in 1975 and he has delivered 5 of my 7 children. I have had the same experience as the other reviewer in regards to him recognizing a medical issue when other doctors told me I was fine. I wasn't, I had an auto-immune disease, and he hit it dead on. I have him as my primary doctor now as I do not trust anyone else. He is open minded and LISTENS. He has no airs about him having a down to earth personality. I have talked to him about everything that goes on in my life. My sister also had gone to him for years and after the birth of her second child, she started experiencing horrible headaches. She went to the ER 3x, as well as seeing an ENT doctor. She was told by one doctor she had TMJ. Another doctor told her it was stress related, and 1 jerk of a doctor told her to get counseling because he believed she wasn't dealing well with a new baby?! I told her to call Dr Mruz. He immediately said "No, there is something wrong and I am going to have you admitted into… the hospital for tests." He got one of the best neurologists to look at her and 2 days later she was informed that she had a brain tumor. After her surgery, Dr Mruz would visit her all the time in the hospital. Sad to say, my sister didn't survive the cancer and died 5 years later. At her wake some of Dr Mruz' staff came to give their condolences. Now, who can say all of this about their doctor? I know that one day he is going to have to retire, and he deserves to relax, but I am dreading that day because I will be losing a phenomenal doctor and someone I look at as a friend.
