Dr. Richard Scott Rhodes, PhD

Dr. Rhodes helped me more than I thought possible. He work with me to manage the immediate and acute concerns while working with me to understand the issues that are from my distant past. I had an immediate rapport Dr Rhodes that got better with each visit.

Dr. Rhodes is always understanding and compassionate. And he helps me find solutions to my problems. He actively listens and evaluates.

So far so good. Funny, tries multiple methods, sensitive to my needs, available in emergencies

Dr Rhodes made my safety paramount when I was not feeling very safe with myself. I am alive and very very glad to be, now. He has gone above and beyond for me. When I first met him I was struck by his sensitivity. He is gentle yet tells me what I need to hear. He is a great sounding board and a very good coach for problem solving. He helped me discover my own wealth of insight. He has practical solutions to my real problems. And on top of all that, he has a sense of humor.

I have been seeing Dr. Rhodes since I was a teenager. After I married we decided to seek counsel for our marriage, and Dr. Rhodes was who we have seen now off and on thru our 20 year marriage and he has helped us out tremendously. He has been a wonderful listener, adviser, keeping our relationship strong.

I visited Dr. Rhodes during a time of intense emotional upheaval and transition in my life. He was able to empathize with me and my life situation in a most professional manner. He "talked me down from the ledge" and help me develop the emotional tools I needed to develop.

If you are someone who needs a more serious, calming atmosphere, this is probably not the place for you. Dr. Rhodes is disorganized and distracted, and for me it got in the way of the therapeutic relationship.
