Dr. Richard Alan Shlofmitz, MD

I waited years to make a review of Dr Schlofmitz. I was so upset by him. Although he is a good surgeon, he is a terrible person. He is a rude bigot in the extreme which is normally seen in people of below normal intelligence. Only deal with him if you are unconscious.

Brilliant but impatient, lacking empathy. Unwilling to discuss a patients concerns. Haven’t figured out if just too busy or just doesn’t care.

There are not enough stars to properly rate and sing my praises for Dr. Shlofmitz. He saved both my parents. Dr. Shlofmitz has been so kind, responsive, extremely communicative, and promptly and proactively follows up with test results and recommended treatment plans. He truly makes his patients (and me, as a concerned daughter) feel special. They just don’t make doctors like Dr. Shlofmitz anymore – he is THE gold standard.

He and Dr. Albert DiMeo and the staff of nurses and and PCAs at Saint Francis are my personal heroes. Tops in all categories; total pros, check! kind and caring human beings, check! God bless. His professionalism and kind demeanor is only second to his incredible skill set. He is the reason why my father is still alive and healthy after a quadruple open heart bypass surgery. He is a humble human being with an amazingly calming voice. He really cares about his patients and you will know it from the first day you meet him.

My heart is the most important organ in my body. I have entrusted it to an amazing cardiologist, who not only is more than competent, but has an amazing heart. ??

My family has known Dr Shlofmitz for almost 30 years. He has kept my mom heart healthy from the moment he met her in the hospital (She is now 91) and has never given up on her since. He is a doctor's doctor. He is our angel. He calls and responds to every question we have. He shows up for her everytime he is needed. His practice is overloaded probably because of all of the people I tell to go to him. Dr Shlofmitz's brand of physician is no longer seen. He is in a class of his own. Our family was blessed the day he came into our mother's life and we continue to be blessed to call him her doctor. Thank you Dr. Shlofmitz.

I guess he is too good!! He pawns new patients to other doctors. If I wanted to see another Dr. I would have called another Dr.

He's the best if the best. His entire staff is the best I've ever seen.
