Amazing wonderful man!

We had the worst possible news at our level 2 ultrasound, and Dr. Silver was there, caring, helpful and wonderful to us in a horribly difficult time. I would recommend him to anyone. A really compassionate doctor.

I have to disagree with the previous rating. I saw Dr. Silver some 18 months ago (6/2008), the day I went into pre-term labor at 29 weeks. As I was having contractions laying on his table, he was very gentle and compassionate and ensured me that the pre-term labor was not due to complications/defects with the baby. He thoroughly examined the baby and showed great understanding and compassion for my condition. He immediately ordered me to be admitted to the maternity ward and contacted my regular ob-gyn to give him an update. Two days later, I went into labor and my regular ob-gyn was late. Suddenly, Dr. Silver comes rushing into the room and ends up delivering my baby. Although the birthing process was relatively short (pain always seems endleeeesss), he coached me on what to do and my little girl was born. Since then, I have met numerous people who had their kids delivered by Dr. Silver and they had nothing but praises for him. I plan to see Dr. Silver for my next pregnancy. I have no… intentions of seeing my regular ob-gyn whose office completely missed my developing complications and I could have easily died from all the different things that happened.

I was referred to this doctor when in my 9th month of pregnancy. He ordered no tests when I saw him in his office. He did not examine me nor did he do an ultrasound. When I went into labor, he met me at the hospital. It was determined that my baby son had died. He wanted to send me home and ignored the fact that I told him I was in labor. To appease me, he admitted me into the hospital. I was put in a room that was not in the maternity ward. I was left to go through labor alone, without any medical attention. He did not answer his page when my husband reported my active labor to the nurse. When he finally showed up I was ready to deliver my still born son. Furthermore, after I returned home, I began bleeding within a few days. He left part of the placenta in my uterus which caused me additional pain and the necessity to undergo the removal of the after birth that he left inside of me.
